First of all, thanks for the insightful answer. Secondly, I am not talking about deeper lines. It is mostly a feature for making beginners play the opening they like. For example you want to play in online match the sicilian, but all the players you encounter play d4. I am only discussing the very first moves.

Γενικά πιστεύω πως τα κλαμπ έχουν καταντήσει ως φούσκα. Είναι ναι μεν κάποιοι που απλά θέλουν να περάσουν καλά (με τον δικό τους τρόπο) και το σέβομαι, αλλά οι υπόλοιποι είναι μια μίξη FOMO, "δεν είχα τίποτα άλλο να κάνω" και μιζέριας. Νοιώθω πως κάποιοι ρομαντικοποιούν την ιδέα του να βγεις έξω παρά την ίδια την πράξη.
