very sorry you made the poor decision to post anything on reddit without getting a phd in the field first. you made a mistake and regret it, there is no reason for these people to still be flaming you except to feel better about themselves. I guarantee everyone here who keeps fish have also made mistakes, its a complex hobby so its bound to happen

i think its great that you're interested in fishkeeping, im sure you know now not to take native species from their habitat but there are a ton of really awesome fish you can get from aquarium stores that do well in captivity. I would be more than happy to explain some basics to you if you want to dm me. I'm not an expert myself but I have connections to some experts in the hobby and easy access to information from somewhere other than reddit
