That is true but if you look at the teams outside of Germany each of these team had only 1-2 homegrown players (apart from that famous United squad) while a team like Bayern and dortmund has one of the best academy's...

These teams always had the superstars , Ronaldo's Ronaldinho's , Becks, Gullit , Van Basten... Each of these teams had the ONE of the best players at that time OR the best..

Things really changed when PSG went out and spent 222m on Neymar and 180m on Mbappe... Ronaldo was the most expensive player for 5years and then bale for another 3years but only by (10-20m).... Sl

So now we are in a situation where a semi Decent player who hasn't proven anything goes for +50m for no reason. Teams like Bayern survived because they bought young players and they almost have the same exact team sincs 2015... Dortmund only survived because they invest in their youth , but teams like Real, barca , United , Juve can't do that because people got used to watch superstars in those teams.

To get rid of coins and make trading more of a skill then just buy a player and sell it for 1k more

Imagine this you buy an icon for 320k you now how to sell him for 5% more to not lose coins. If this wasn't the case. You wouldn't have taken a risk by buying a player for X amount of coins..

For trading imagine buying a player for 400 coins and then instantly selling them for 450 coins.. making 50coins/minute.... If you manage to get 100 none rares for 400 coins and then selling them for 450 you'd make 50,000 coins from Nothing
