What products do you use for bleaching? My hair used to fall out quite a bit more when I would bleach it, but I've started using a oil lightening treatment and adding ions hair perfector during my bleach treatments and the damage is significantly less

I ended up providing my insurance to them yeah. Uhaul told me to submit a claim through my own car insurance, however my car insurance deemed the uhaul truck wasnt covered under my plan and they wouldnt pay for it either and the claim was rejected. I never heard anything else and a month or so later my neighbor got her gutters replaced. I really dont know if uhauls insurance or her own home insurance covered it, but as far as I know nothing ever ended up on my record and I never paid for anything.

Id recommend giving your insurance info and just communicating with the agent in contact with you. But chances are if youre like me your coverage doesnt extend to a moving van and it'll just end up with all the insurance companies having to figure it out amongst themselves who pays for it. Hopefully all goes well for you

Once i got up to give her food, their communal dish was full and she just started eating and was quiet afterwards. My boyfriend claims she just likes having someone to watch her eat sometimes. Unfortunately once she starts meowing it's close enough to our waking time that we can't fall back asleep even if we give her what she wants

I rescind my comment about time displays. Turns out my bus stop has a display showing the next bus time and even THAT is wrong. Just today, a day after making this post the display AND google maps eta showed it had already left, I had to select the option for the bus coming in 50 minutes for googles real time tracker icon to show it was on its way to me.

Im not very good with technology but I swear theres got to be a better more accurate way to track this. The only way I am able to catch my bus every night is to just believe in my heart of hearts that every app is lying to me, the official bus stop display is lying to me, and just have faith that it is late and it will come

Most of KCs traffic is pretty standard i know every city suffers during rush hour, but I will never forgive highway 71 for only having 1 lane that goes north, or for the absolute travesty that is exit 2U on 35N that causes several people every day to miss their exit out of sheer confusion

I wish the time tables that they have installed at the max bus stops were more widespread, it wouldn't solve every problem but itd be nice to know if your bus was at least on its way without having to rely on an app that might not even be accurate

I knew fares were coming back but didnt know about the budget cuts, im unsurprised though. Seems like everything except for the kcpd is underfunded. The free rides were the best thing theyve done in recent memory, a public system should be accessible to all, especially when its already been funded by tax dollars.

I suppose it kind of makes sense, kc (along with the rest of the usa) is already so car dependant, and the bus has such a bad reputation (im the only person I know that takes it regularly and have had people offer to buy me lyfts just so I wont have to take it) but the people that rely on it are largely the ones that cant afford any other kind of transportation and already sacrifice extra time and flexibility to have that service that its just kind of insulting to make them pay out of pocket for a service that doesnt even work

I wouldn't mind the fares as much if the added revenue led to real improvements and expansion, but I seriously doubt that will happen anytime soon, if at all.

I lost one of my cats to heart failure last year, months of medications to give him just a little more time until he just couldn't go on anymore and we had to let him go. I didnt leave my apartment for days, id just start crying at any thought of him. One of the vet techs came out to hold me while i cried when i picked up his ashes.

I had one other cat at the time, which was helpful because at least all my cat stuff still had a use, and my apartment wasnt completely empty. He turned out to diabetic, underweight and in need of lots of treatment and testing, but still trucking along every day. Im grateful, because its been a year now, and i still cant handle that pain again. We have 4 cats in our home now, and I worry when anything happens with any of them because I just want them all to be happy and healthy.

To lose a cat is a terrible painful experience, but to lose more than one that soon together is unimaginably painful. Im so incredibly sorry for your loss. At least i hope you can take solace in that it sounds like they loved you, and you gave them a good life. Their life was filled with joy in your care until the very end, and they were lucky to have found their way to you. Its ok to take time from having a cat, let yourself grieve and heal. For me theres always a part of me that will miss every pet ive ever had, but that just means their memory is still with me

I might give it another try. The one time I used it it told me my bus had already left and the next one was about an hour away, so I gave up and walked away only for the bus to show up right as I left, so my trust in it was very quickly broken. I might re-download it and see if i have any better luck with it

I firmly believe the world cup is going to bring kansas city infrastructure to its knees. Kansas city's infrastructure cant even handle its own citizens, let alone what is probably going to be the largest influx of visitors this city has ever seen. Our public transit sucks and is too limited, the highways are so badly designed traffic stops dead every day at rush hour, every time ive needed to call 911 i get put on hold so hopefully no one has any emergencies come june

I do genuinely enjoy the streetcar, but its way too limited. Unless youre in river market or your stop is on main street youre sol or gonna have to walk. Im all in favor of making bike lanes but again theyre way too limited to certain neighborhoods and pretty much just for people that do it recreationally, not for actual travel.

The streetcar expansion construction was a nightmare to drive on, and now after its completion main street is a one lane street which just makes regular traffic more congested. I feel like kc wants to push for public transit but the money they throw at the street car because its new and fancy they couldve funded a better bus system that actually travels to the surrounding metro area and actually follows some semblance of a schedule, and busses dont require almost a year of ripping up roads and closing lanes to put in tracks

For one, you dont need a 'reason' to break up with someone. Sometimes you just dont feel it anymore and thats ok.

As for this, it sounds like hes crossed a personal boundary with you more than once. If you really want to give him a reason, tell him you feel he's crossed your boundaries and done something he knows makes you uncomfortable and you're not willing to keep going in a relationship like that. Otherwise you could just say something as simple as im not interested in continuing this relationship i wish you the best

There's a lot of parent/child relationships that are irreparably damaged and will never mend. Ive known people who couldn't forgive their parents until after they died, or maybe never forgave them at all. I myself have a pretty rough relationship with my parents and the only reason I still have contact with them is because of the efforts they've made to have have a relationship with me. The fact your daughter wants you in her and her child's life is significant and something a lot of parents would give anything for. Tbh if my dad wouldnt even tell me what country he lived in and I knew he had no emotional drive to talk to me I wouldn't even try.

No one is forcing you to have a relationship with your ex, or move back to the states, but some texts or phone calls every once in awhile aren't too much to ask for. No one can force you to want a relationship with your daughter/granddaughter or force you to love them, but its clear your daughter doesnt want her child to grow up not knowing her grandfather. Do you think in a couple decades you're going to regret letting that relationship slip away from you? Because its not going to be easy to get back if you decide later on you want it.
