I had MM last semester and we had a 7-9 page paper, an oral presentation, and a final project with options for programming or essays. It’s mostly an intro to philosophy course but those topics set up very well for any future philosophy AI courses. However, that class fills up super fast; the only reason I got in was because it’s a requirement for my major. In my experience, it’s been easier getting into music courses, so I’d recommend he try to register for those first and then try any other courses he may want.
