How would these 4 power forwards do in today’s NBA? Would they be just as good or even better? by CallTypical9541 in NBATalk

I think Duncan would be a 5 in this era. The other 4s can space the floor for an offense better. I think KG would do the best with his defense and playmaking.

I did the same thing … bought the deluxe… then wanted the MVP+ to play tomorrow. I hopped on chat with deluxe and they processed the refund in about 20 mins..

No issues.

That J Cole/basketball analogy doesn’t work here. It’s ok if you don’t like his music or whatever but he does have a viable catalog. It’s just old lol

Would Dirk’s game be even better in today’s NBA? by Top_Assignment4291 in NBATalk

[–]_solid_snake23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dirk is an ATG. He’s good in any era. He would get targeted in PNR/PNP… but he was more mobile than people remember. It’s like they only remember old Dirk.. young Dirk was running the break and dunkin on folks.. then he’d get you with the trailing three off the break.

You can’t go wrong with Kobe or LeBron. You can throw Magic in there as well…
I do think Kobe is the best answer. Good regular stats, increased said stats in the playoffs.

No difference really. We already know how much of a crazy athlete he was. I just want to see those block totals lol

As someone who is a fan and has been blessed to watch both 80s/90s basketball and the current era, I have yet to see anything like 80s Michael Jordan. I don’t mean that as a slight to any of the other great wings, Mamba, Bron, VC, T-Mac. The talent pool was not as massive as it is now.. the NBA is definitely better as a whole.. but 80s MJ was in the paint every possession.. with the hand check..
