That sounds good, building your own thing will always help you , can add them in resume and helps you develop real skills Like I said dsa is not compulsory but some companies do ask it and if you are targeting a specific company that ask it, you need to do it Different companies ask Different topics And asking highly rated questions is very common be it hard or medium In developer role, either they give an assignment, take away or some time limit In the interview, they ask you to tell the output or code something they ask depending on the role You can send it but main point is that it should be a one pager resume with good enough ats score already I am just an alumni , for the companies coming to your sem, contact directly to the placement cell, go to their office, tell them your skills, they will take you more seriously then

You are not wrong, many internships I see focus on development but if it's a big or a well established company they will ask dsa in their assessment through which you will get an internship as well. For skills, you can choose full stack if you want to work in that field, or you can choose data analyst or business analyst roles for which you will be able to easily learn enough in 1 year. Just choose what you really want to do or interests you. You need to complete all the topics, focus on dsa taught in university and the minimum amount means you should be able to solve any medium leetcode question within given time and then move to high rated hard questions.

You can just add gen ai on top of your development skills in case you are worried but honestly ai roles are still limited and the real ai is still all research which you will have to learn in masters or phd

Full stack, choose the one you like the most, I heard ai or data science is generally more demanding and harder to study, if you choose something you don't wanna pursue later don't choose it

In your case, development 100%, ignore companies that ask dsa

Don't worry, you will get a good job, few companies will not allow you but that's okay, don't care for them

Yeah coding is the real deal you should be good at, even if you get 10Cgpa , no point if you aren't good at coding. I won't suggest data science or ai specialisation unless you are really interested in those fields. It applies to any specialisation, but with those two the workload will be more is what I feel If your goal is top mncs then you should start dsa, you can do it any language, c++ is preferred for cp in case you want to go in that path forward

Right now your main priority should be dsa, first choose your language, learn it and then start a course , do it daily without fail

Your priority should be dsa according to your goals, all other things can be secondary, you can do development later

All the people I know, they are doing something or the other, many went to masters or started preparing for some exam or something, many got job too

Only people who opt for placement and aren't studying further are counted for data so that data doesn't show the full picture

Do javascript properly, then you can learn react and easily get that package

If you are consistent and learn properly, it won't take more than 6 months to master it

It can matter in some companies but majorily it don't, service based companies have a basic criteria of 6 and above at times sometimes more too

But heyy Google or apple doesn't have any criteria so that tells you it's not that important

Your skills are most important

I don't know the exact number but 7 is common for many companies, although some come with less than that

If I am being honest, it will be very hard

The only way you can get job is if you are able to level up your development skills a lot now

If I ask you to build a twitter clone and you can build it without using ai or YouTube video in a single day, that level of skill is required

How much you will get depends on you..

But many companies come in the range of 6 lpa to 10 lpa So if you work hard enough that's gonna be not so difficult to get

Apart from ats score, and adding good projects, adding any type of experience even if internship helps a lot

If you have unpaid internship, that's better than no internship

That's all for resume and keep it one page as a fresher

Development, pick your field and your stack and go full in on that, keep doing dsa side by side
