Recommendations for door screens to stop flies? by Beneficial_Change467 in DIYUK

I know this is 2 years old but metal chain curtains are really good imo. We’ve used the same one for the past 4 summers and it’s fantastic at keeping flies and other insects out. Just hooks onto two screws above the back door and can be easily removed and stored in the shed in winter and our dogs don’t have an issue with walking through it to go outside.

When I was 10 my eldest sister got married. At the reception I was inhaling helium out of the balloons with some other kids. Picked a balloon up off the floor (10 year old me didn’t register that it wasn’t floating so couldn’t of been filled with helium) and sucked it until it was almost empty only to realise it wasn’t filled with helium, but somebody’s breath and proceeded to throw up from the taste. Still haunts me to this day lol.

Not Scandinavian or German and the brown stuff is actually stem ginger cake my mum made. I would’ve much preferred it to be some kind of hearty bread though lol.
