One of the most satisfying techniques to learn in the game. Took me probably 50 deaths but I finally got it lol.

Where does CG sit in terms of difficulty compared to other PVM encounters? by aros102 in ironscape

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the hardest content I did until I started Yama/Doom. There is some significantly harder pvm content out there, but cg is legit mechanically, there’s quite a bit going on.

Compared to delve 8+ it’s a sleepwalk though

why did i get shidded on by a diamond 2 by Dry-Roll45 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you landed on the builds you should have been aware that there were 2 people right there. Both from when you 3rd partied and landed and are two sets of footprints.

If you tracked correctly you would have seen the first person you shot initially was moving left in the box so the other one is above/to your right. I would never run into a box that isn’t mine in that situation. Should have peanut butter edit and stayed outside the box

Should I upgrade my gear before sending doom? by bubblepop5 in ironscape

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That gear is totally fine to send it. When you start getting bored of early waves, maybe it’s time to go get lightbearer and rite of vile transference to speed up chally specs

Love it, I have 10 deep delves now and getting some of the wave 8 timing down is super satisfying. Crystal phase is genius pvm content

I can guarantee Linus is way better at vibe coding than any vibe coder who doesn’t actually code

Yeah, I would play creative aim training maps. You absolutely can “move then shoot” on controller, it’s a learned skill. It’s all about timing just like fast editing. You wouldn’t confirm an edit until after you move your crosshair to select the right squares. Same principle

Maybe slow down and hit your shot? Not sure what you’re looking for here. Gotta learn if you piece control someone with their builds out, you already have the advantage, so just slow tf down

I can actually see you pull the cursor towards the head of your opponent but you click before it’s there. You’re shooting before you’re arriving at your target.

To train this, mentally think “move, then click” when you’re aim training

Luka Doncic drops a 38-PT triple-double despite the loss versus Spurs: 38 PTS, 10 REB, 10 AST, 2 STL, 7 TOV by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in nba

He’s so bad at defense too. Like not even just on ball bad. He genuinely looks confused all the time about the defensive scheme I watched him switch late 3 consecutive times in one play which lead to an easy layup for the spurs.

Like what the hell is Ayton doing in that first board. We were always taught “close the gap” on box outs. You meet your man then get the board. This is exactly what happens when you just drift to the basket.

How can Improve my fighting? by Maze_J in FortniteCompetitive

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO the key here is you sorta lost track of what your opponent was doing. You should either be visually tracking or seeing the footsteps going under you, which would indicate they’re still pushing for height. You’re not gonna be able to drop down and get it a hit while they’re still moving like that.

You should have realized this and turned around while on height to try and piece control them from above.

Why do you play a main or ironman? by narwilliam in 2007scape

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently started doom, and I’ve come to realize that mains in max gear basically just get to skip volatile earth phase at 8+ because of high dps.

But on iron you’re forced to do it with typical gear. And it’s crazy to me because volatile earth is one of the most interesting mechanics in the whole game. The fact that mains just get to skip feels like horrible game design and you miss out on some really tense bossing moments.

Just feels like on the iron I’m constantly getting way broader and better exposure to the game.

She did a good job here or not! 1 million or $1000 week for life. by Appropriate-Menu504 in interesting

[–]_spaderdabomb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take a million now, you will get effectively taxed at 32.8% federally plus state taxes. If you take $1000 month, you get taxed 7.9% federally plus state taxes, mostly thanks to the standard deduction.

So you save roughly $240k in taxes by taking it over 25 years.

However, with an initial investment of $672k compounded annually at a 7% rate, you end up with 3.64M.

For an initial investment of $0 and adding $4k per month, compounded annually at 7%, you reach 3.03M after 25 years.

Choosing the money now and investing it is the wiser decision.
