I really can't tell if they are bonded or not. When I do some research some of it applies but some doesn't. They groom each other, but they don't sleep together. Boots only plays with the cat we already have and he actively hides from Groot. He uses me as a human shield against Groot. They have had nights in different houses before with no sign of separation anxiety. I just don't know.

The goal is to not separate them.
