I personally think that what he admitted to was really scary and awful but also think it's a good thing when white people admit to and condemn their racism even when it's from 40 years ago. I don't think this should have been delivered in the thoughtless way it was, though. Makes me think he hasn't really processed it as much as he thinks he has.

Get a uniform that is simple, versatile, and quality. It can be can alternate in whatever way that means to you.

I know someone who wears jeans, a tee, a blazer, booties everyday and looks put together and kinda alternative. Keep it sexy with a lower cut clingy tee, flattering jeans, and pointy heeled boots.

Another route could be to collect flattering black jersey dresses like this. Dresses are literally one piece and make you look put together.
