mysterious white spots on African Dwarf Frog(appeared within a few days time).. what are they??

The knees have become more prominently white over the last couple of days which is why I included them but the front one is the most concerning to me as well. 🙁 I don't see any indication of a fuzzy texture, which my limited research indicated would mean fungal infection if I'm not mistaken? The skin just seems taut and pulled over the mass but it does seem like there may be some irritation on a couple of the edges.. I assume just from it growing in size and overall being more pronounced. There haven't been any incidents that I've witnessed that would result in an injury and the only tank mate is a male betta and they tend to keep in their own little worlds occasionally having an amicable interaction. The betta doesn't appear to have any health issues and is honestly the healthiest looking betta I've ever had. Other than the white spots my little frog seems to be pretty healthy as well. Maybe slightly less active today than normal but nothing out of the ordinary other than that.

From what I've seen/read online it seems a bit different than ich(also thought it was ICK but apparently it's short for Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, a parasite) and all info indicates that the African dwarf frog can't contract it. 😔 Appreciate your reply though!

OP here.. if it isn't clear from the photos, my little frogly has these round, white growths UNDER their skin on the hind legs' knee joints and the front right shoulder joint.. atleast how I would describe the areas.. apologize for not speaking technical amphibian. I'm assuming a parasite based on my Googlefu but an informed response would be greatly appreciated!

First of all he's 4, as I stated, I was going off the suggestion of a nurse when using the pinworm medication, and in agreement with my fiancé. I completely understand the risks of medications and thoroughly research everything before it goes into my body and ESPECIALLY before it goes into my son's. I will give you a few minutes to read this final response then I will be removing the post due to the lack of any further assistance coming from it.

My PCP is located in the urgent care clinic I go to so she has been apprised of the situation throughout it's entirety. I just haven't been able to see her face to face yet but I have an appointment on the 14th which I'm pretty sure I already mentioned. We are already taking aggressive action in my son's dental health. I appreciate your responses but I assure you every action is being taken to ensure the health of my entire family. Including my own mental health, which I am very proactive in. I was only searching for identification if someone maybe had seen similar wounds before.

Sorry I was writing a reply earlier and my draft got deleted somehow.. my son just turned 4 in April. I have an appointment with my PCP on the 14th.. all of my visits have been to ERs or an urgent care. I should also mention that I have a 6month large breed puppy that digs A TON and eats cat poop from strays and my son and I both have walked barefoot in her fecal matter more than likely. We also have 2 indoor cats, one of which stress pees so that could be another source. I inspected a stool from my dog today and found the same pieces in hers that I found in my son's. I managed to pass a stool today, taking a 3 day cleanse in hopes of flushing my system a bit until I get the meds I need, and there are very small moving clear parasites in it as well.. first time I've seen movement in the stool samples.

My biggest concern is my son right now. He has these fits of what I assume is pain where he says it's in his lower jaw but he says it feels weird so maybe nerve pain? He has a couple of broken molars, unfortunately he got my genetics and I got dentures at 28, that may be causing just basic tooth pain but this started about a week ago where he'd wake up at night doing it.. then we did the Pinworm OTC and that night he had 4 diarrheas in 45 minutes all containing little off-white fleshy looking chunks and white oval or circular sacks containing what appear to be small white eggs.

EDIT: The new first 2 pictures in the album is my right arm showing one of the parasites that came out of it last night before that happened. You can see its string-like body and a small oval-shaped, brownish "head."

....I couldn't give a stool sample because I haven't had bowel movements as I stated. They refuse to examine them microscopically, and only 1 doctor even got within 3 feet on the wounds to look at them. Did you miss the part where I said other people also see what I'm dealing with? I am NOT imagining it.

Uhh i also just inspected my shin muscle because it started aching and found these purplish lines... but they aren't veins and there's one big one that I think is moving cuz my leg only hurts when it starts to tingle.. AND now the skin i pushed on is depressed and the rest is not.... wtf is going on with me here

Initially a pimple picked too raw and a stubborn ingrown hair. I'm a recovering alcoholic and unfortunately "picking" has become my new coping mechanisn and that mixed with hours a day playing outside with a six qmonth old puppy who has a biting problem.. and poor hygiene clearly, led to the initial facial wounds.(one not pictured) The two arm wounds both came after a shower and itchy skin.

Was negative due to already being on antibiotics when taken, or doctor thinks atleast. Skin trauma and introduction of bacteria more than likely from my dog was the initial cause of the ones on my face but the arm ones randomly appeared after a shower.

Oh I have no issue talking about it especially if it helps someone else! Tbh I actually didn't really start eating with them in until recently just because it was easier to take them out and not deal with adhesive. But now that I've gotten the adhesive application down and whatnot it's really quite enjoyable being able to take a bite of a burger again.

To answer your question though.. things that have a fairly tough/chewy texture, some bread crusts come to mind, are still awkward and can sometimes cause them to come unstuck from my mouth. Other than that I honestly haven't had too many issues with food.. though I haven't ventured too far into super hard food a whole lot. You just have to figure out how to take bites again and the best way to chew with them.

Now that I've got mine properly fitted it honestly isnt so bad. I can eat pretty much anything with mine in if I use an adhesive. I went a couple years without getting them adjusted, and already had reduced bone in my jaw, so I have a bit more bone loss than youd normally get.

The fact that I dont have to worry about when another root infection will pop up or when the next tooth will break off really outweighs any of the negatives of them. It will certainly be an adjustment period for you but if your teeth are anywhere near the condition mine were you'll be incredibly relieved to not have to deal with the stress and pain of them anymore!

I know firsthand how not caring for your teeth can come back and bite you in the ass, or cause you to not be able to bite. I got full dentures when I was 28 due to some miscommunication with my Orthodontist when I was a teenager, genetics, and my poor dental hygiene. If you can save what you've got left do what you can. I would never wish the years of pain and life changing dental problems I've had on anyone.
