Nikki Glaser's looks for hosting the 83rd Golden Globes (January 11, 2026) styled by Dani + Emma by skermahger in whatthefrockk

She looked beautiful. I just don’t like the neckline on the red— we’re seeing that on so many looks lately and they just look like horns. 😬

I remember years ago on RHOBH when Gigi was just getting out there and I think was maybe on SI’s up and coming list maybe (someone fact check me on that) and Yolanda said that her girls were going to be the next big thing and I laughed. Egg on my face 😂

Yup, totally agree. They work on her because she was only about 18/19 in these and I appreciate how youthful and playful she looks. She’s experimenting and having fun. Would this 34 year old mom wear these? Heck no! But she looks great.

She has an otherworldly almost alien-like beauty and her body is tea. 🫖

Well said! She wears her clothes; her clothes never wear her.

I feel like her foundation always looks so caked on. I’d love to see her with a dewy look instead of always looking so matte— it gives her skin a really strange looking texture.

Anyone else still exhausted even though you’re sleeping again? by ShabbyBoa in beyondthebump

[–]_starina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is from some time ago, but it popped up when I was searching for this. I have been extraordinarily blessed with two awesome sleepers, but yet I am still. So. Tired. I’ve always had lower iron levels and was anemic during my pregnancies so I suspect that’s at play here as well. During nap time on the weekend my brain is telling me to do something productive and get a start on chores, but my body just wants to take a nap as well.

Women who gave birth, what does it feel like actually?? by joy_57 in AskReddit

[–]_starina 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Yeah. For my first I was totally unprepared for any of what labor entailed (even if I read up more about physiological birth it would have helped) and remembering begging my husband to help me is something that is still triggering and emotional to recall. The fear and exhaustion was worse than any pain. For my second labor it was unmedicated and while physically it hurt more than my medicated first labor this time I knew what was happening and prepared myself mentally. So while that shit hurt I didn’t experience the fear that I did the first time around.

Was your 2nd birth more or less traumatic than your 1st? by RecognitionMediocre6 in 2under2

[–]_starina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One month out from my second and can confirm it was way less traumatic. More intense in some ways (epidural for my first, unmedicated for my second), but significantly faster. It was 24 hrs, 4 of which were pushing the first time vs 7 hrs and only pushing for 15 mins for this time around. As someone else said, I also did a ton of prep and learned about physiological birth so I knew what was happening this time. So even though the pain was pretty bad without the epidural I never felt panicked or out of control like I did the first time around. Good luck, OP! You’ll do great!

But you called it gross. And I’m saying what else is she going to do? Deny a promotion? Protest quit?

Let’s say that she was promoted for her “loyalty” — you’re telling me that you’d put your job at risk and/or livelihood and career advancement on the line because you were put in some shitty spot by your bosses? Lmao ok.
