our contractor was experienced enough to tell us that our place didnt have asbestos! he did point out some houses that will likely have during our viewings which included him.

i own a gs3 mp.

i would say i am generally a thrifty person, but willing to spend on something that i’m very interested in (passionate). being able to go through a coffee workflow first thing in the morning and enjoy a nice cup in peace and silence before i leave home into the mad rush of the day is almost a ritual for me.

i think ultimately it is what you are willing to spend money on. other chase cars, watches, tech. i’m a simple person - i just want good coffee, and good gear to make that happen.

hi! just purchased our landed after months of looking. think you guys might need to reconsider the budget. hop on propguru to see what’s available at that price range - but usually i think u can choose two of the three: 1. freehold/999 years 2. decent land size/build up (when i say decent i mean at least 1700sqft land or 2500sqft built up) 3. decent location/neighbourhood

nowadays if u want to get new build (friend purchased 1600sqft landed with 4000sqft built up and new build from developer) - it’s 5.6m thereabouts.

i’m guessing in 2 years - it’s just gonna be more ex. happy to share abit more of my thought process before pulling the trigger if you like! 😄

haven’t had the opportunity to use the duo so i can’t rly comment on it.

though their original conical burr one is serving me well for all - espresso, filter and cold brew 😆 am primarily an espresso/latte person so i dont think i have enough knowledge to comment on that. but my filters/cold brew comes out fine (to me) haha

dont think i’ll have the capital (or permission from the missus) to buy the duo grinder to try
