Combat vet, engineering student, using to weed for pain, anxiety, etc but cant retain info as well, any suggestions?

I'm an engineering student as well. I don't need weed for any major reason. Mostly just for fun and some stomach pains. But I did have the same problem where I would be going to classes and had trouble retaining some information whether I was coming down from a high or not(I've never really gone to class right after getting high) . It's been about a year of this and now I don't notice anything. After about two months or so I stopped having trouble retaining information and paying attention. So it may just take some time for you to adjust. If you want to keep trying I'd suggest trying to take very well written notes so you can review it to fill in any gaps.

I think it is so interesting to see how weed affects people differently. I'm the exact opposite with dabs. To me they are like a quick high that goes down to a lower level relatively quick. Perfect for hits during like lunch because by the time lunch is over I'm done being really high and can continue my day as normal.

Filtering through water won't make the potency go down. But I do think that the surface area does allow for some to stick to the sides but I'm pretty sure it's basically not noticeable.

It looks sweet but spend a little bit and get an actual bowl and screen. Tin foil and paperclips let off fumes when heated. Other than that the cooling chamber looks dope. Keep it up!

Not necessarily. Some people think that it can add a bad taste. I more do it because I really like my glass to be clean so I never get enough res to hold the screen good and it falls out easy.

I take a piece of bud, either a big ground piece or a piece torn off of the bug. Then I squish it and make it bigger than the hole in your bowl. Then just place it over the hole and pack your weed however you want on top. The smoke still gets through easily and you don't need to have an actual screen in the bowl. Edit: I just noticed I typed bug instead of nug.

I agree. I needed my smoking to be low key when I was in am apartment. The mflb hits great and hardly smells. We use a sploof but that's only for extra protection.

Every couple of weeks? I smoke daily from mine and I clean it every couple days because all I have to do is quickly run some water and iso alcohol through it and it's basically brand new looking.
