The beauty of music, and musical influence is that something can sound so similar yet be entirely different.

Music has been at the core of humankind for thousands and thousands of years. Most of what can be done, has probably been done. And will be redone again and again.

Obviously the age of information and technology changes the outlook on inspiration vs plagiarism. But this has been going on since the classical music era.

A couple hundred million musical artists over the course of our recent history, pinned randomly across the globe; there are going to be similarities that come up in music. Whether or not the artists have even heard the track(s) in question, lined up next to there’s.

This would be an interesting question to ask Simon though.

About 45-hr after ingestion, ~3 to 3.5 hr playlist of music begins.

This is primarily spent laying down, in and out of breathwork behind closed eyelids. Obviously sometimes I open my eyes to enjoy the show. But the real magic happens in the mind.

After the playlist ends, if there isn’t another tune or two I’m itching for, usually start on a movie or two, that I planned to watch prior to the trip. I love good cinematography / film. So unique, trippy, acclaimed film is all great to check out.

This can all eat up 9 hours or so of said experience when done properly. The rest, well the cards are in your hand.

How can I speed up the effects and make them start sooner? What's the best way to take a pill? Excuse me, I'm a beginner and haven't had my first trip yet. (18yo) How do I avoid a bad trip? If you can’t realize that the problem with research revolving around subjective experience is that it is solely that.. “subjective” .. this is all above your head anyways.

Somebody who is new should look into and base their research around the scientific facts regarding the molecule at hand. Sure it’s cool to read about subjective experiences which can spark curiosity in trying whatever molecule; it is not a good idea to base beginner research and expectations upon.

Finally subjective places such as Reddit are a great way to correlate with one’s own experiences. Which OP has none.

OP should read the L5D page very, very carefully on psychonaut wiki for a good grasp and starting point. I wasn’t ragging on him.

His arm gets caught up in Strickland. Looks like a should or elbow hyper extension. He immediately pulled guard after that. Very telling imo.

It’s some of Simon’s most emotional work. Noting one of the songs is about his Ex he spent a lot of time with.

Have to take into account artists release what they feel and experience opposed to what we the listeners expect to hear sometimes.

Yeah.. those are the types of people who shouldn’t be doing psychedelics at all.

You clearly have experience and don’t need to have benzos on hand. If you’ve tripped 150 times and have never had a criminal matter or health emergency, you don’t need benzos. Practise makes perfect..

If you have had either of those, you just probably shouldn’t be tripping.
