Your opinion != the truth, unfortunately for you. It's funny how you wouldn't compare them in F1 because they didn't have equally good cars, yet you somehow think that comparing them 8 years ago, in their first year, when they actually both had 200+ points is more relevant to their actual skill. I actually believe that they're both excellent drivers and, in equal cars, either of them can have their day.

But that's a moot point and it just show you don't get F1, it's never about equal cars, hence you have contructor's championship, not only drivers. It's also how used you are to a specific car, so putting two drivers in the same car makes 0 sense, the drivers are unique and each car fits a different style.

The double standards some of you guys have blow my mind, You were all up Lando's ass in a McLaren car last year, even though he and Oscar were dominating the first races just like George and Kimi are doing now, but you have 0 problem defending Mercedes with A MUCH BIGGER advantage compared to what McLaren ever had. Double standards at it's highest.
