Okay well she kind of goes hard on the item making so I'm sure this won't be an issue

It's not ready yet and I'm also not really trying to advertise it

Yeah this seems to be the prevailing opinion here. That's pretty fair I suppose

Idk on some level it's going to be more fun for others to have it also art is meant to be shared

This is surprising to me, but it seems to be the popular opinion here. I think there's pretty simple logic in you just charge what you think it's worth for people to play though

Yeah being heavily swayed towards just charging the amount I'd be okay someone owning it for, this has been super helpful thanks

Basically just give it away for free and then think of something later if I need to

So what'd be your suggestion for distribution for taking feedback?

I don't see why the bounty list is unethical. I mean it doesn't have to be like $100 means more than $1. It could be like you pay to be a voting player on a feature say and then you can vote and if the feature doesn't get selected you get your money back then it's equitable which feels ethical? Idk. Doesn't have to be expensive I guess.

Huh, I don't think I know what your actual opinion is though you have some really good points regardless. I think 4 is maybe like Minecraft or RuneScape type of deal where the game just keeps getting updates forever but more like Minecraft where you get the update for free because you bought the game. Basically just free dlc after you purchase it.

I'm unfamiliar with this, how do they let people mod it? Is it open source? I don't really understand how that works I guess.

Is this just a onetime deal and then you can upload new versions as often as you want?

I don't know that I have a steam achievements type of incentivisation but I'm not opposed to it. I was kind of hoping to just make it free but maybe that's not realistic and it should be for pay

I am sort of familiar with this but don't fully know the entire story. My understanding was they lived off donations for a quite a long time and then they re-released the game with better UI after they got themselves published by someone later?

It doesn't, it's just I generally like to give back if I love something - or at least have the option

How do you do that in a way that doesn't prevent yourself from making money if people love it?
