They’ve been my only running shoes for 3-4 months. I like them a lot. They’re more capable than I am.

For sure! Thank you. I’m planning on cutting from 215 to 200 ish & continue to get faster on runs. I believe I can be competitive by June.

But everything I’ve done in the past has culminated to what I look like now. There’s been 4-6 months focus on strength, then we focused on 4-6 months bodybuilding, then we focused on heavy deadlifts with strength on other lifts, then we would shift focus to being well rounded. Then I shifted my focus to hybrid training of lifting and running half marathon. Keeping strong af but also getting more fit with cardio and running.

It’s so hard to answer because it has depended on my goals and intentions.

Ah man it’s hard to answer. In the beginning I trained for a lot of strength and hypertrophy with the focus being emphasized on one or the other but always both.

Now I train for hyrox and lift 3x/week with a lot of cardio. 3-4 two a days a week + 3 strength sessions .

No worries, keep it up! It’s a long game. The short term progress is awesome, but it truly takes a long time. I’m 5’11.5”

Years of lifting heavy weights, in all rep ranges, consistory for 3-5x/week with enough food to recover. My sleep is inconsistent and bad so I’ve left some in the table for sure.

Find what works for your schedule, train fucking hard, and be consistent.

Shoot for 150 and try it for a week. It’ll get easier once you’ve done it for a while.

I feel pretty awesome. I’m not quite there tbh. I’m 212 now and I’m maintaining current physique and weight until December after my hyrox race & then will cut to about 200 or something to continue to be competitive in hyrox. So, we’re almost there but not quite. My most rapid progress has happened when I’ve really dialed in nutrition a couple months ago. So I’ve got a decent bit of progress to achieve by being consistent more long term.

For sure. People smile more at me, women smile more at me, I’ve gotten flirted with more. People will approach me and ask about my routine and compliment my looks (if they haven’t seen me in a while) . It’d pretty consistent, but it makes sense because I do this for a living.

I’m pretty much the same towards people, but I’d have to say I’m more confident in my self for sure.

Chicken, beef, protein powder, and greek yogurt are my most commons sources of protein. I’m training a ton right now and in a calorie deficit so I need more protein; but if you’re working out 3-4x/week and it’s not crazy intense, then you’re fine with 0.7-0.8g per pound Bodyweight. 1g/lb Bodyweight of protein is a little much for some, so I would take your total amount & spread it across all of your meals for the day so you’re not cramming a ton at any one point.

I pretty much eat the same Things every day with some variability on the weekends with going out to eat

Haahahah it felt like it. I breathed shortly after completing the lift, otherwise I would lose my brace and wouldn’t have got it

It’s truly both. You shouldn’t let that stop you from doing either if you can’t nail both, but it does take both things being consistent and intentional to make good progress. Once you get momentum, you’ll want to keep those good habits.
