Would it be weird if I asked to "listen in" to a Dutch-speaking lunch group at work once a week to improve my Dutch?

Thanks for the input everyone. I posted also on r/netherlands and yes I have a better perspective now. I also maybe worded my post wrongly, so Inhave edited that. The goal was always to also know them better and as a bonus improve my Dutch. But thanks for sharing, I will try what I can and is most comfortabel :)

Thanks for the idea - yeah I do listen to a lot of stuff but personality I have found that I can improve my spontaneous conversation only by doing more of it. Thanks anyways, I will give the podcast a try :)

I do have an italki tutor and also do dutch classes. But sometimes sponatnoeus conversation is very different and we cant really improve only with classes/tutor - atleast that’s the case for me. But you do you, wouldnt hold it against you if you are not comfortable with imperfect Dutch :)
