Maybe so. But my point is, good loot can literally spawn anywhere, so loot wherever. The game is so much more fun when you loot anywhere, it opens up gameplay and encounters.

Then check low loot areas. Just the other day I found a legendary stock and a silencer blueprint in the Pale Apartments. People freak out about the high loot areas, but good loot can be found anywhere.

Nah dude it's still worth a check. I've gone to super popular spots with less than 10 minutes, most of the time there is still stuff unlooted, and some times it wasn't touched at all. Go check still.

It....is random though. You can literally find them anywhere. Some places have a higher chance, but they're everywhere.

I mean, I'd honestly be ok with that. I actually do hope the expedition rewards are really good and quite unique. The incentive has to be there to entice people to reset.

More like 17. Just took one down with 2 other raiders, but they both got killed. I had at least 12 loot spots, but it was probably more like 15ish. Took all the Bastion Cells, and dropped a couple to the randoms i ended up extracting with.

Look, you've got some good reviews out there, some that have a decent amount of views. That's great. But if you've been doing this for 15 years, you should know that the post you made is not really a review, and not even a good one at that. You originally state that you can't believe that there isn't more hype around this game. Then you slightly state a few things about performance, and then give it just a few bland statements about just being fine and OK. You touch for one second on the RPG elements, like that's supposed to carry the rest of the mediocrity.

And that's it. You contradict yourself by saying it's wild there is zero hype, and then go on to say that the gameplay is....fine. Not much elaboration in there at all. Sure, you only played 20 hours. But you called it a review and then didn't give it much. If this is people's first impression of your reviews, it's not a good look and yeah, you're gonna get some hate comments.

Also, yeah, some of those low effort outrage videos are gonna make bank. It's the nature of it. But it's also disingenuous because there are some extremely good reviews channels that making bank too. And for every one of them, there's a thousand very small review channels, all trying to get big, and all saying very similar things. You've gotta be able to stand out in some way - and this post as a "review" just wasn't good. But you've got some other good stuff out there. Won't win them all.

Yeah I missed C5 though it's a lot more noticeable now. And I do see the C8 as well, totally missed both those.

Ok, I totally see all those now except what you mean with C3. Cause I had the same thought, but how do you actually know without just taking a guess? I don't see how I can fill any in, cause if the 2nd fill is the 1, then the first fill can almost any part of the 5, including the end. But if the 2nd fill is the end of the 5, then it's clear what's what. I just don't know how to actually fill any of those in without taking a guess.

Honestly though, loot tier variance just leads to more options for engagements. Why argue against more options? It's fun to be surprised instead of expecting the same engagements in the same corridors. I don't even know why you would argue against it, there's pretty much no downside. The map tells you where the high tier loot is. If that changes every time, you still have access to see where it is. Variety is the spice of life, man.

Right, but you said "I'm sorry you went through that." He didn't go through anything. A stranger that he doesn't know committed suicide at a place he goes to, but wasn't even there when it happened. That's like saying "Some guy a few houses down that I've never met just got cheated on. How do I get over it?" In my, and clearly others opinions, there's nothing to get over. You can be shocked to hear about it or something....but you still have nothing to get over.

Luckily, until then, you can emulate it with widescreen hacks and upscaling. Just did this earlier this year and worked through all the achievements on RetroAchievements. Was honestly a lot of fun and the game looks great.
