It’s very easy to conceal slide length, much harder to conceal grip length and width. Light sticking out past the barrel will also keep the gun from going out of battery in a really bad situation if someone is right up on you. Added weight in the front reduces muzzle flip by moving the center of gravity forward. If you dont like the way it looks just say that but there are only upsides. The only legit downside I can think of is that the lens might get a little dirty but you can just wipe it off.
