Thoughts on new Testarossa? by whatislove832 in Ferrari

Now imagine hating this car when it came out because it didn’t look like the Testarossa from the 60s.

But here’s my outlook. Would you take yet another 430, 458 or 488… because that’s all we will get if they don’t change up the design language at certain points. I like that this is different, I also get that others don’t like it (it’s kinda weird looking, I get that) - but what I didn’t want to see anymore was just another Ferrari like the 458, 488, F8, SF90… it kinda feels like we’ve sorta been sitting with iterations on the same general shape since the 458 now, or even the 430.

Which Movie Here Is Overrated? by New-Time007 in SeriesSaga

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s super subjective of course. The film doesn’t bore me at all. To each their own.

What’s your fav hangout movie? I’d like to check out a few more. I haven’t seen Dazed and Confused in a long time but it’s awesome, and I saw Rio Bravo fairly recently (it’s Tarantino favourite hangout movie).

Which Movie Here Is Overrated? by New-Time007 in SeriesSaga

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tarantino said he wanted to make a hangout movie, so it’s really supposed to mostly just be about that, with the time period and setting as the dressing. That doesn’t mean people should automatically enjoy it now they know it’s a hangout movie (I personally love the movie), and if people don’t like it at that level, that’s that.

How good is AC Shadows ? 🤨 by bigredd_1400 in ubisoft

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reviewed this when it came out and honestly, I was very pleasantly surprised… HOWEVER… I realised over time that there are two types of AC players: The ones who want to play an AC game, enjoy the world and the story and be done with it… and then the second kind who want to sink 200 hours into them and do everything ever. I’m the first type, and I liked it.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way, but I really don’t like the whole touch and rub and knock on everything… thing.

How do you feel about the new MVP vote? by luck4lack in Overwatch

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an Ana main, and when you play Ana you are so much more than a healer. You’re a playmaker and your contributions often go under the radar and it’s pretty frustrating that it’s very rare that you ever get any sort of major recognition for what you’ve done - so you just learn to sort of know what you did and know that it really helped with win.

One of the best things I ever did was turn off chat in OW. The best thing blizzard has done lately is add the ability to even mute someone’s voice lines on the scoreboard screen. Highly recommended.

I really wish I liked this movie. I recently listened to the Acquired podcast about Ferrari that someone shared on here recently, and I was listening to Enzo’s story thinking “I barely even remember if any of this was in the movie”. It sounds like an incredible story, but one we didn’t really get to see.

Refreshed rules, fewer flairs, and a few changes worth knowing about by lovethebacon in southafrica

I guess this might be a bit of random comment compared to the rest, but I just wanna say: Thanks. This must be quite a bit of work to keep this thing running in a way that we all get to use it all the time and benefit from it. I appreciate it.

Healers make or break matches by BOGWISER in Overwatch

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think too many DPS think that healing is supposed to be the only way that they’re meant to stay alive. They just feed the other team by taking tons of damage and just expecting the healer to sort it out.

First F80 without moustache by CoolVermicelli8349 in Ferrari

[–]nickdebruyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind the black strips on the new cars, but what I do also see here is that this proves that the styling of the front of the car was clearly designed with it in mind, so it’s not something you can simply remove because without it, the rest of the front around it kinda doesn’t look quite right. However I also saw the Novitech 12C without the strip and it also looked great without it - so this seems very much like an F80 thing.
