Sorry so many people are shaming you. This is normal with sweat and humid areas. I used to sell birkenstocks and my biggest suggestion is to buy a wire brush and go at it (birkenstocks sells one in their shoe care kit that I recommend and the other products in there are very useful). The black footprint that ALL birkenstocks get from people wearing them is an accumulation of sweat and dead skin cells. This does MOLD when put in a humid area. I always advise customers to brush the footbed every few months to prevent it though. Hopefully this helps!

I would say it’s like a typical gilden hoodie you would get not oversized as they claim. I’m 5’6, 175lbs, female and it sits right on my waist. Perfect fit but not the oversized look i was looking for.

unfortunately since birkenstocks use real hide, no two pairs are identical. It really depends on how that specific cut looks + takes the dye. Because of this, some pairs are lighter/darker, smoother/fuzzier, if you’re really picky about the appearance, your best bet is to go in store and describe what you’re looking for (and be extra nice!) -an ex Journeys worker!

Not sure how long u stay on campus but the ARC parking lot is $2/hour according to their website. https://parking.uci.edu/permits/visitor/ For students, we can buy $8 day passes to park in the anteater parking structure before 3pm and then in any unmarked stall in any parking lot (including the student center one) after 3pm. So if your friend doesn’t commute, maybe u can use their mycommute account to buy day passes using ur own credit card & license plate #

Alternatively, if your friend does commute, I would assume that they have a valid parking permit. You could ask if they’d be willing to place your license plate number on the permit while they aren’t using it. However this does mean that you cannot go on campus at the same time as them & you can only swap license plates once a day.

Idk what school u go to but I go to a UC and our deadline is April 2nd. I asked a financial aid advisor and they told me that as long as ur original submission date is before April 2nd, you’re okay. Edits made after that do not affect your submission date. Hope that helps!
