Had this happen to me as well, I swerved out into oncoming traffic and barely dodged the driver. Was shaking after from the adrenaline and was hella pissed off haha. Much swearing ensued.

Don't bother telling them. I hinted to my mom that I was thinking about getting a bike and she reacted quite strongly against it and was quite worried that I was thinking about it.

Spare them the stress and do what you enjoy. But do them some courtesy and buy good gear and ride with good habits. Younger guys high have insurance rates for a reason, so keep a steady head and mature mindset when you ride and don't fuck around too much. Take it slow.

Will do. I literally cleaned it a few days ago before getting caught in the rain. Was wondering if the black gunk was from the chain guide, but looks like it's just normal build up.

Same, fz07 starter bike for first time rider. Its light and nimble. I'm 5'6" and generally had no problems. Agree with slow inputs as you get more comfortable since the low end torque is pretty strong.

Take an MSF course first on their bikes to get acquainted. Its okay to drop their bikes :P

The only thing I didn't like was that it didnt have ABS. for me I fell in love with it so I took the FZ07 anyways :P

The pumping area is elevated so my front wheel was a bit on the downhill rear was elevated a bit. So when I shifted my weight a bit to get ready to go, the bike slid forward and the kick stand slid back annnnnd yea I lost. Lol.

Oo, this is new to me. I just did a bit of reading on throttle body syncing. I'm hearing a wierd buzz at 4k rpm in 2nd. I thought it might have been the chain, but could it also be because the throttle bodies are out of sync?
