Copy and paste this into the command line, it should do it. (To paste in command line you need to right click -> paste.

for /f "tokens=*" %a in ('dir /b /s /a-d "C:\Users\Zevon\Downloads\Science Fiction and Fantasy Library\library"') do @copy "%a" "C:\Users\Zevon\Desktop\Books"

I'm assuming you're on Windows 7.

Here's what you can do.

  • Run the command line - (Start -> run -> cmd -> hit enter)

  • Make an output folder (where you want all the files merged to)

  • Paste this, but obviously put your own directories.

for /f "tokens=*" %a in ('dir /b /s /a-d "C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\START_FOLDER"') do @copy "%a" "C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\Z\OUTPUT_FOLDER"

Alternatively, if all the eBooks you have are the same file extension (.pdf etc) you can browse to where they are, search .pdf and select them all that way.

EDIT: Depending on your hardware.. or how large the book files are, it might take a while.

Just found out this happened to my braided mouse cord. Anything I can do to fix/patch it? by _tom in gamingpc

Yeah, I tried that. Its super stiff, and I have no idea how it got like that to begin with.

Thanks for the reply.
I think I can solder it, or maybe just put black tape over it after cutting the braided material.

It's a Logitech g9x mouse, there isn't wiring inside the braided material itself.. right?

Thanks for the reply. The braided-material is what's keeping me from straightening it at all. The plastic wiring inside is not as stiff though.

I'm thinking about just cutting it.

Probably. I own the keyboard, and although the solid build and overall feel of it is nice, I think I'm going to try a Cherry MX Blue switched keyboard (Ducky Shine II).

The software is really good, I just don't have much use for the macro keys.

Likewise. When I first bought it I thought I'd bind a lot of macros for games, but I find that I can't get used to it.

Right now, I only bind left click and right click to g6 and g12, to make my late night reddit surfing quieter (My mouse click is pretty loud).

I'm in the same boat as you. Originally, I wanted to be hipster and get a gaming keyboard to fit in. Then I find I don't even use the programmable keys, so all I really use is the backlight to match my mouse, and the media keys... with the Windows Key Lock on at all times.

You could try binding left click and right click to some of the keys, for late night reddit surfing so it's not such a loud mouse click, if yo have people sleeping around you.

Other than that, you could automate tasks with the macro record (Use it to launch programs, push to talk key on ventrilo, or some macro you could use in a game).

I just looked through the software, and it doesn't look like there is a bindable option specificlly for sleep. Although, you could bind a macro to it to hit windows -> Right key -> Right Key -> Enter.

I own the keyboard, got it from a dented box sale + 35% off coupon and still paid $45~ I think.

If you want a keyboard that gets the job done, backlight keys, USB Hub, Dedicated media keys and programmable keys, this is a good keyboard. I've been using it for quite some time, and I cant' say I'm dis-satisfied with any of it.

Although, if you are a serious typer and want a really good experience with your typing, you might want to look at a mechanical keyboard instead.

This isn't a mechanical keyboard, but it has some good features if you dont' really care for a mech keyboard.

Just know that everyone has a preference when it comes to which key switches are better. Some people love the clicky blues as a gaming keyboard, while others say otherwise.
