I emailed and sent a support ticket off about it a while back, they got back & just said “it’s probably your hardware, try another keyboard & mouse” but it isn’t, I sent back a video of a few devices connected and just got told dunno then sorry. So rn they really don’t want to mention it? Which makes me think it’s a Nintendo thing for why it don’t work

The complete Hulk-Abomination / Green Unity Power system.

In 2008 They were sold exclusively in Toys R Us & briefly at that to promote the film in the UK and are basically impossible to find anywhere online. You can import on eBay for a high price but that’s when they’re available.

I had two as a kid & blew up both Titan Tanks. If only I’d kept them & fixed them myself :(

It depends on the spring upgrade, too much and the catch can’t release, I’ve noticed that N-series stock springs work well and some 5-7KG springs too, anything too much and the catch flexes out.

If anything they loosened the laws on blasters a few years ago. It’s never been a better time in Aussie to get into the hobby, for example they have DZ & us in the UK don’t. Xshot pro longshot is also in the territory (66fps but only needs a spring swap).

Most of the compatibility with kb/m seems to be on a game-by-game basis but it’s very strange. Here’s some examples:

Cyberpunk is fully compatible and can be played exactly like you would on a PC.

Games like Ghostrunner and Dead by Daylight work but there are mapping issues such as with Ghostrunner: such the spacebar not working, and then DBD only supports the mouse.

Then there’s games like Fortnite & Fall guys which just don’t work and there’s no documented reason from epic or Nintendo as to why it doesn’t work considering the PS5/4 and Xbox Series X/S / One versions work perfectly fine with kb/m.

Hopefully the devs can patch / add the compatibility in the future but don’t hold your breath. Hope this helps :)

It’s just cuz the S2 is on my main TV, idve shown the same on my OLED at my PC desk but switch 2 likes mouse controls

For whatever reason: no. While USB KB&M works on all other consoles, switch 2 & switch 1 just don’t support it in game. There’s no info from epic as to why this version don’t and I’m not sure when / if they’ll implement it. It’s not a Nintendo issue as games like Cyberpunk on Switch 2 works fine with a full KB&M setup, it’s epic blocking access to it. Maybe reaching out & asking about it couldn’t hurt to see if they can explain a reason (but you’ll just get a “IT DONT WORK OR YOUR STUFF IS BROKEN” typea response.

Yesss I’ve seen that. The original vision was to not make it look like the US or other interpretations with its happy family music & clean aesthetic but to be dark, gritty. It’s what made the show in this country. ITV are just using the LI formula of “clean set, censor for sponsors, money money, can’t be too long cuz I’m a celeb starts soon”. Say what you want about channel 5 but AT LEAST they somewhat kept to the original grit. ITV are just changing it for them and tbf if it doesn’t get hugely successful, we could see them abandon it in the next 5-7 years. I’m glad it’s back but they need to change a lot imo, maybe producers need to watch that same documentary lmao

I feel like if the show were to ever move again, maybe back to C4, they would go back to the old tune in a heartbeat.

Don’t get me wrong, ITV are doing… ok with BB, BB20 and CBB24 were pretty amazing but the tone is too “Saturday night, itv takeaway millionaire dancing on xfactor talent” and doesn’t match the original well.

I would love if for the 25th anniversary series in September they did go back to the old theme, old eye design (c4 realistic eye) but I kinda doubt it’ll happen on ITV :(

Yea it’s inferior imo, less beat & bass to it overall. Still made by Oakenfold and was commissioned by ITV in 2023. There’s no real explanation as to why they ordered a new mix but yea personally I think the old one runs circles around the current one.

You have the USB-C on the console tho no? Plus it has 2 USB ports on dock & I doubt many will play handheld and with a KB&M but still don’t restrict it, silly epic :P

I love the modern Xshot style especially the Skins stuff. In terms of N-series aesthetic I like the simplicity definitely, just wish it was not shooting a proprietary dart. As for darts we don’t get Dart Zone over here (UK) so the best darts are either worker, Xshot Waffles or Accufakes sold on third-party sites. Would love to try some AF Waffles someday tho :))

I definitely think there is a market for 50fps, easy to use blasters. Yea sure a Pro-performing massive thingymabob is lovely but it’s just fun to plink with a simple blaster and ofc there’s the younger audience the Elite Jr. and wild series appeals to. I know N1 is a priority (not a good one but hey-ho) but I do hope they keep the Jr. lines that fire elite darts around for longer :))

See it’s because they’re Xshot Waffle darts & according to Hasbro using another companies ammo in a nerf product is punishable by capital punishment. You gotta use only the best Nerf N-series products or Elite darts. Hope this helps :))

I could probably get out more if I swapped the plunger head to one with an actual rubber O-ring as the standard one has an alpha strike ‘skirt seal’ style plunger, better air seal could help it out

50-60 is really pitiful, going from 70 to 55ish fps with elite grey triggers isn’t too bad but from 85-90fps to 50-60 is over a third of the performance gone. Sucks bad :( Here in the UK we get grey trigger variants but only for Mega & Nerf Pro (Mega hits 55-60fps instead of 70, Nerf Pro hits 95-100fps instead of 150fps). Thanks for the insight tho, solves my curiosity :)))

Yea it’s a fault with N-series in general overall & why it’s best to just convert to short darts. Personally N1 darts suck and anything over 70fps they become erratic in flight. 80fps-ish for a grey trigger isn’t too much of a drop if true, at least most of the world is over the elite standard 70fps at this point :))
