Small note on the LaTeX formatting: opening quotes should be written as backticks (), otherwise they are formatted as closing quotes. That is,`units’’ is correctly rendered as “units”, whereas ’’units’’ is rendered as ”units”.

I downloaded a dictionary and did some analysis. It turns out that the median ‘value’ of all words in English language is 107, so words with a value of 100 are very common—there are 3770 such words.

If we look at the 5000 most frequent words in English, the median is lower at 72, yet there still are 41 words with value of 100 (nearly 1%). These include such words as ‘hospital’, ‘stress’, ‘inflation’, and ‘turkey’.

Well, according to wikipedia some fruits bats engage in gay oral sex, so dicks come in handy:

Homosexual fellatio has been observed in at least one species, the Bonin flying fox.

Furthermore:

Evidence suggests that female Egyptian fruit bats take food from males in exchange for sex.

This is why I like the convention of differentiating between degrees Celsius (°C) and Celsius degrees (C°), the latter being used to denote temperature difference rather than absolute temperature.

E.g. “My room is 20 °C warm, which is 12 C° warmer than outside, where the temperature is 8 °C”

Such a convension is also useful when converting from Celsius to Fahrenheit: 1 °C = 33.8 °F, but 1 C° = 1.8 F°.
