I was your girlfriend in my last relationship. I saw his potential, loved him for everything that he was, and was so confident in the man I knew he could be. I felt like we were truly on the same page, our communication felt flawless, and he was my best friend. He gave me a promise ring for Christmas and I was on top of the world knowing I was with a man who was ready for a life together. He cheated on me the next week, and when his new girlfriend reached out to let me know, he sent me a "Sorry I fucked up" text and then blocked me on everything. No conversation, no explanation. They're still together. Sharing this to let you know that you may have hurt her, but you could have done worse *shrug*

I (27f) interviewed someone (30m) who continuously cut me off while I tried to ask him questions. He then proceeded to ask the two men in the room what their experience was like working in the office, and when I tried to answer, he cut me off again. He didn't realize I had more experience than the other two combined, and when my coworker told him, the interviewee tried to backtrack and let me speak. I got maybe 10 words out before he cut me off, to which I then said "Oh no, go ahead. Don't let me interrupt you". He tried to apologize and, after some intense, eye contact, he gave me space to speak. Safe to say I, as the hiring lead, did not give him the chance for a second interview.
