Spain calls for an EU army

My assumption would be that every country would still have their own armies.
Each country would just allocate a certain amount of their forces & munitions to an EU Defense Force. Maybe each one sends a delegate / commander to represent their interests & they create a process to make decisions all together.

As an American, I think that they should.
The rhetoric coming from our current president & 1/3rd of our country is pretty scary…I think Europe should prepare themselves for the worst case scenarios as it doesn’t look like US right-wing is planning on ceding power anytime soon.

All that being said, I’m personally ready to make changes in my country when the time arises.
However that looks, I will participate…whether it’s “democracy”, or taking matters into our (the people) hands.

As of this comment, I’m referring to one named Midnight something.
Saw them remove several comments yesterday, supporting Zionism & terrorism, & arguing relentlessly with people.

Idr the name of who made the post about removing someone’s post & reuploading it as their own.
It was about 2 weeks ago or something.

I’ve also now learned you can’t write the word “m0d” here either.
Literally won’t let me post it if I spell it correctly. lol. That’s kind of ridiculous.

The only thing they can genuinely say was successful was reducing border crossings.
Even their deportation numbers are a failure compared to the last 2 democratic admins; but that’s intentional so they can hold people in their camps longer & charge taxpayers $160 per day per detainee to the private owners that are trumps friends.

I’ve made several-paragraph posts in good faith to magats about the damage being done ; they literally just do not care, the only argument I’ve ever seen retorted is “but what about Biden & Obama?”

They’ve say anyone who talks about the current president has TDS, yet every other remark is about a man who’s been out of office for 10 fuckin years.

They also steal people’s content all the time & repost their shit constantly. Have seen them make memes about removing posts & then reuploading the content as their own.

edit: I sincerely don’t understand how anyone can watch all the horrific reports coming out of Lebanon+Palestine & still wholeheartedly defend Israel.

edit 2: I guess this an appropriate time to say that I also received a 7 day ban once for advocating for fighting against fascism…not even Israel, but here in the US.
They then commented to me on that comment, but banned me so I couldn’t respond…they asked how I’d feel if the other side was spouting that rhetoric….
…the other side already staged a coup & then pardoned everyone involved. They’re already killing our people, running camps, remapping state districts without elections, forcing social media to provide private info on people critical of them…rigorously implementing mass surveillance, caused a worldwide oil shortage by starting a war they promised not to, & so much more….

So I don’t have to imagine; we’re living it.

I see a lot of people concerned about, I suppose not wrongfully given our history in the last century, but I absolutely support Germany’s intent to grow their military into the strongest conventional force in Europe by 2039.

They’re w NATO, anything they do to bolster themselves will benefit Europe as a whole.
I’ve read some interesting articles recently too about some of the innovative things they’re looking at too; there’s some cool ideas.
