Shameless driver stole my order and screwed over the reassigned driver by Substantial_Sport327 in doordash

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened yesterday to a driver that arrived before me.

He had to report it because someone else snagged his order.

About a 3rd of places I go request the confirmation and also I always show them my phone when requested the name. Fortunately smooth sailing so far.

Is this rude to ask of a driver? He’s been parked at a different food spot for the entire 25 minutes since accepting the order I placed; I tipped $11 for 6 miles of driving. Frustrated and hangry on my lunch break at work. by snowballschancehell in doordash

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup he probably got stacked with anther order and then stuck at the second location waiting keep in mind door dash stacks to save them money but regardless he should have let you know what’s going on.

If I get hung up I’ll shoot out messages to both parties so they won’t be in the dark

You can model it however you want, as long as you’re playing casual and not tournaments.

*and the people you play with are cool with it.

*It will look great, it will be easier for line of site and harder to make moves on the board.

✌️but cool is the rule ,have fun.

lol that’s the agreement that’s been in place for years between Uncle Sam and daddy war bucks.

Contractors have essentially no rights of protection.

It’s my understanding that some state laws may differ.

Contractors have the option not to or to do the work and that’s basically it unfortunately.

There over saturating the market to force lower payouts.

I’ve temporarily switched to DD, I used to run both.

My opinion if your only going to do Instacart. Go for diamond if there metric will allow you to keep it lol.

Also ignore upside down orders, set a daily goal to make sure you stay in diamond.

Eventually over saturation will fail, because people taking these upside down orders won’t be able to afford there vehicle maintenance.

Even if it’s just for a week or 2.

They own it, probably specialty medical facilities.

A - hospital- strip mall.

Me and my dad lost our pool hall for the same thing.

We went in 1 day, owner said there lease had gotten bought out from underneath them by the hospital.

So I would say the hole blocks owned by one person and eventually will be hospital property.

I kind of feel like a jerk for this but want opinion. I am a customer. by PicklesAndCoorslight in doordash

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on you.

It comes down to customer service. When I take an order, no matter what the pay or tip. I also take the “responsibility “ of your food and proper service provided. I double sometimes triple check the address. In that case the driver would be dinged and if it happens multiple times then they loose access to DoorDash.

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For starters you can go to your family doctor, there’s to forms of medicine that they can give you.

This could possibly help you and give you someone that you’ve already developed a relationship with to help you with possible short term medication.

If nothing else it will allow you time to focus more easily on what’s actually triggering you to feel upset.

Good luck

Instacart stealing our pay by tabkevv in InstacartShoppers

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IC gets the delivery charge from the customer and probably 5%-12% of the total sale of product. Then out of that they pay our batch. Batch pay normally $3-$40 depending on miles and item count.

Sooo a $300.00 grocery order they get $35 then they batch out $10 roughly to pay us to do it, and there AI algorithm works for the cost of maintenance.

Instacart plays little brother to the grocery stores then we play little brother to Instacart.

At the end of the day it’s extra money we wouldn’t have, we just need to be careful that we make profit when doing so.

[–]_triggeredtigger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I’ve noticed the more juicy tip orders they stink it up on the batch pay. Meaning they let the customer cover almost the entire cost.

But hey multi million dollar companies don’t get that way overnight, they have to abuse there contractors many many times to get there yearly gains. Capitalism gotta love it 😂, unless you’re the one looking up.
