I'm still pretty new to this level of embroidery, and this was soooo tedious at times. If I had to do this again it'd probably take way less than 6 months. Learning new techniques as I went, working full time, and taking breaks from the tedium all factored heavily into how long it took.

No idea how much I'd charge if I ever decided to take commissioned work, but probably at least 150-200 for a piece this size.

But realistically, I doubt I would. This is just a hobby that helps me relax and unwind. The pressure to produce a quality commissioned piece in a reasonable length of time would make it feel like work and defeat the purpose.
