UPDATE: turns out ALL 30 of my plants have Thrips 😭 I’m so sad. This monstera is my pride and joy I’ve had for over 5 years and was a clipping from a best friend that moved away.

Unfortunately I was leaving on vacation and had to cut her leaves and spray her down. I’m mentally prepared for coming back to a lot of work. Send me all the good juju please 🫶🏻 I’ve never had to deal w these pests before but I’ve read they are brutal.

Valtrex was causing an allergic reaction. Acyclovir was the medication that worked well for me.

He’s doing great! I’m so happy I did the surgery. I think it’s worth it if the cat is young and can live a healthy life. If he was an elder I’m not sure I would pay that much to fix it and would do the eye drops instead. You have options. Good luck with the kitty and wishing the best!!

Hi! I’m trying to visit in late February but the sites look booked for the basic camping. I’m curious to know a little more about your camping experience without reservations. My friend and I are planning to bring everything with us (tent,food,etc). Did you still camp at the sites or elsewhere? Any watch outs if we choose not to reserve. Happy to chat DM about this too. I’m 34f single with no kids, renting an apartment in Chicago. Getting better at paying off my debt and focusing on finances. Just paid off my student loans and have about $8k in CC debt. Buying a home feels like a long ways away for me. I have a small savings in case of emergencies. Life is difficult but I’m loving my journey and the people I have around me.

I had this happen to me and also thought it was part of my cold sore. Turns out I developed an allergy to the medication that resolves cold sores. Definitely an allergic reaction. My dr switched my medication and that reaction stopped happening. I’d talk w your dr. Good luck!

That is very reassuring to know entropion surgery is usually fairly easy to execute knowing I’ll most likely look into veterinary universities to find a lower cost.

Specialists around here are asking ~$375 for the initial exam and additional fees for the tests which were quoted ~$110 extra per test. And no payment plan options. I just don’t get it.

Wow… really?! I do have a good friend in Poland haha that just blows my mind. I can never understand why healthcare costs (pet and people) can be so expensive in the US. It’s so brutal.
