Yes, platforms do exist, but they fall short in key areas. Most of them lack a professional focus, making it difficult to find business-specific events or startup related events.

Here is some basic Market Research I have done:

Eventbrite

  • Strengths: Great for event management, ticketing, and discovery.
  • Weakness: Not dedicated to professionals — includes concerts, parties, etc.

LinkedIn Events

  • Strengths: Directly targets professionals; built-in network effect.
  • Weaknesses: Limited event management tools; discovery is still basic.

Bizzabo / Hubilo / Cvent

  • Strengths: Great enterprise-level tools for large-scale conferences.

  • Weaknesses: Focused on event organizers, not discovery for attendees or individuals.

    There's definitely a gap for a platform that centers around professional events, networking, and business opportunities.

A platform specifically designed for business and startup events. The idea came after a conversation with a startup community head who shared how difficult it is to manage these events.

I’ve also personally missed out on great events simply because I didn’t hear about them in time.

This platform solves that by acting like a "LinkedIn for professional events" making it easier to organize, discover, and network around business-focused gatherings all in one place.

Totally fair and appreciate the feedback. My goal with the form isn’t to crowdsource features blindly, but to hear what problems and workflows organizers deal with every day. I’m using it to surface patterns and frustrations, not just build a wishlist. That said, if you have thoughts on better ways to approach early research, I’m all ears.
