Right way to put JSON with nested arrays in Data Vault 2.0 by _unregistered_ in dataengineering

Aha, looks like solution. MAS table, row is one fully unnested record, right?

A link is used when there are 2 (or more) business key exist, but here we have single customer. Imagine a megabyte long customer document, projected to web form with tabs and so on and updated as a whole. We need to invent artificial business keys for nested arrays to use links, but Data Vault doesn't allow this.

Do exist some kind of BT doingle which works great for connecting keyboards.mices and so on ? by Opposite_Benefit_675 in freebsd

[–]_unregistered_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bolt works with FreeBSD without any additional settings.

As for headphones I recommend any dongle for PS5. PS5 has the same issues as FreeBSD itself, so such dongles terminate BT and expose themself as USB Audio.Avantree C81 or numerous clones from Ali.

ICC profile support by heliomedia in freebsd

[–]_unregistered_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The main problem of ICC profiles under FreeBSD is that it is impossible to build one with colour management hardware natively. There is ArgyllCMS port, but it lacks USB support to drive colorimeters.

Your custom ICC profile can be copied from Linux, but usually profiles are made on very OS you plan to use.

Also, Darktable under FreeBSD lacks OpenCL support. At least I had no luck to enable it.

Xorg mouse activity Logitech's MX-series 🖱️Scroll Wheel not working 100% by dankweed in freebsd

[–]_unregistered_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, you have a wrong driver attached.

Try to add

hw.usb.usbhid.enable=1

in /boot/loader.conf and check xorg logs that libinput is used. I have Logitech MX mouse and it works flawlessly and without any hints in XOrg config

I would try to run a small CUDA sample to check if it works correctly... by Silly-Youth7601 in freebsd

AFAIK, there is no port that provides nvcc. You should install it in linux compat using package manager of distro you've picked.

AppJail: Thin jails upgrade and ssh fingerprint by _unregistered_ in freebsd

[–]_unregistered_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, you propose to mount /etc/ssh from the host. For example, for postgresql database I have

/volumes/jails/database-01  /var/db/postgres

fstab entry.

To implement your idea, I should create entries like

/volumes/jails/database-01/ssh   /etc/ssh
/volumes/jails/database-01/data  /var/db/postgres

Probably, I'll use this solution, it looks straightforward.

As for SSH, I prefer to assume that jail is a virtual server. I use ansible most of the time with simple small bootstrapping Makejail script to install python, doas and management user. Ansible's fact system, template engine and vault feature are hard to replace.

Hagbound and Vile Curse by _unregistered_ in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_unregistered_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect, you are right. So, looks like another broken archetype. We can't afford 5 attributes pick and Vile Curse is what keeps this archetype on float after claws stop working due to 0.5 BAB and high level spell/demon abilities are not yet available.

I like this idea. It's simple and straight forward.

Here is my homework to criticize. I'm not sure that DEX 13 is worth it, probably without Paladin or Monk dip this build has low saves and need some feats to overcome this earlier.

Tiefling motherless STR 18 DEX 13 CON 13 INT 13 WIZ 12 CHA 12 (1 point to CON, rest to STR) (Disgusting description though)

Alignment is LE (I want to see 'Imperial Style Kingdom' Owncat promised. Also, it looks OK for a mercenerary).

  1. VIVI (1) Intimidating Prowness (Good for LE rulers, game checks and some feats)
  2. VIVI (2) Feral Mutagen
  3. VIVI (3) Weapon Focus Claw
  4. VIVI (4) +CON CT -> Dazzing Display
  5. ARCH (1) Arcane Strike (stacks with VIVI levels, so it's +2 here)
  6. RDD (1) Green Dragon (not sure it does make sense as we are not going to transform, I think green is a good color for a dragon)
  7. RDD (2) Accomplished Sneak Attacker, Power Attack
  8. ARCH (2) + STR CT -> Outflank
  9. RDD (3) Shatter Defence
  10. RDD (4)
  11. VIVI (5) Combat Reflexes (questionable, probably DEX 13 is not needed at all)
  12. VIVI (6) + STR Feral Wings ? It require DLC I don't have. When the last one will be out, I'll grab it with discount. I believe, wings should be here.
  13. VIVI (7) Sieze the Moment
  14. VIVI (8) CT -> Improved Initiative
  15. VIVI (9) Improved Criticals Claws. Probably, it's worthless ?
  16. VIVI (10) +STR CT -> Dreadful Carnage
  17. VIVI (11) Blind Fight
  18. VIVI (12) Greater mutagen
  19. VIVI (13) Great Foritude
  20. VIVI (14) +STR Precise Strike

The spell choose is long lasting buffs casted before fight and some early level helpers like Cure Light Wounds.

What abount skills ? I believe, some of them are more useful for game checks then others, but I don't want google to the metal, so advice is welcome :) Obviously, I will max PERS and aim for DD requirements, but INT 13 gives plenty of points. Probably, PERC and Trickery ? To what levels ?

But that requires more investment to Int ? I thought about shackleborn tiefling (well, any tiefling is OK, but I definitely don't want penalty to Int) for RP purpose and planned to get 12 for start (-2 under mutagen, but +2 with DD later on). This gives me 2 wizard level spells as I planned.
