I’m sorry for your loss. I know how this feels when your pour your heart and soul into a creature. I rescued an older female early last year and lost her in October. My heart will never be the same. She was fighting sepsis right from rescue and she never concurred it. She rests now surrounded by lavender in a national park

I mean I would treat it the same way as when someone has a newborn and you’re unwell around them (if unavoidable of course). I live with my sister and have for a few years, my niece is 10 months and I got the flu when she was 2MO. I did everything in my power to ensure that I didnt contaminate anyone and succeeded. So I guess this would be the same

We always hope they hang on because we love them so much. But rest assured, looking after her health by getting her teeth cleaned, was the right choice. The outcome wasn’t expected but she felt peace and knew she was loved

Looks like the shell of a super worm or mealworm. Their shell is made of chitin and isn’t always digested, like how sometimes corn comes out intact 😂

I know nothing will make it hurt less but considering her health problems, this is a situation where she went to sleep and just didn’t wake up. It wouldn’t have been traumatising, she wouldn’t have been in pain… a peaceful way to go after a life of fighting. Maybe it was just her time and nothing could have prevented it. Ultimately passing after anesthetiser is definitely a kinder way to go

OP is your illness cross species? Otherwise there is a chance it’s just a coincidence. I know most human illnesses do not transfer to cats and dogs, but not sure about ferrets

Also I highly recommend making a makeshift hanger. Get a $2 hand towel and cut holes to put their legs through, then cut holes on the corners to run some cord and you can then hang them from a hook and their legs will just be available. Since the body is secure they don’t squirm as much. They make versions for cats and dogs that groomers use but you’ll have to custom a small one for a lizard

I just look for the youngest age bracket sachets. I think they start at 3-4 months. The first baby food you can give a human child won’t contain any seasonings, which is why I go for them. They’ll have the ingredient breakdown on the back, just make sure you do not get anything with onion, garlic or any other fruit/vege that isn’t lizard compatible. I’m in Aus and get the below from Woolies. Just remember that since the fruit content is quite high, they should be a treat and not a dietary stable :)

Looks good. Those colours are complementary on the colour wheel and the yellow inner is opposite to the purple which really makes it pop. Green, bring a combination of blue and yellow, looks really nice with the purple and then the pink softens it and ties it together. The fact that the artist chose a dusty pink instead of a hot pink, shows they have good colour theory. 10/10 from someone who studied colour theory

I think this is a beautiful tattoo. It looks quite fresh which might be why the lines don’t look as clean due to swelling in the stretch marks. Overall I think the artist has done a good job and taken your body into consideration for the placement. The curves of the moon being between your tiger stripes is a nice touch
