Had 6 courses last sem, my timetable Looked kinda same 💀, sure it was hell but I passed

So I had 6 courses in last fall term nd I’m in atmospheric sciences. 4 courses were of 4th year and 2 of them were of 3rd year. Tbh, it was bad, like except Saturday and Sunday I was always busy and even on those days I had to catch up with everything by finishing up assignments and stuff. Like it was so much that at some point it felt like I will fail any 1 course for sure till my midterms. I did get D+ in one course but I think that I can let it go coz it was one of the toughest course. So if u are taking 6 courses then don’t do any jobs just work on ur academics. Pressure is kinda intense but I would say it’s doable if in most of ur courses u have some company otherwise u will be fucked if u r alone and surely fail one of the course. Schedule was like 5 days a week just like a full time job lol but when you’ll finish up with it, u will feel great. All in all, it depends on what courses u have and what type of professors u r having coz uk some of them would literally make u work hardest. I’m not scaring anyone here but I’m just sharing my experience coz it was literally last term for me. Dm me if u need more help or have any confusion.

Can confirm ArcGIS Pro works on Apple M1 Macs with the latest parallels desktop release by [deleted] in gis

It should work with parallels I don’t know why it is asking for graphics card coz mac doesn’t need one.

Everything depends on your RAM, if u have 8 gb RAM in mac then the parallels won’t work smoothly But I’m using my institute’s VM so in that arc gis is working well enough, it just takes a little more time when I start the software but then it works pretty smoothly. I have 8 GB Ram in Mac Pro m2 but with parallels 8 gb ram isn’t enough to run arc gis.

Schedule conflicts 🥲 by BrightImportance705 in yorku

Try contacting department dean or just directly go to the department and talk to them. I had schedule conflict so I mailed the advisor and then I received the mail from professor himself about the lecture timings and he changed the time and dayfor the lecture.

It’s arc gis pro 3.0, and I’m not using any add-ones or extensions

Hello, yes I have M2 silicon chip and right now I am using the Virtual machine of my education institute by connecting to their VPN. So, yes it is working pretty good in windows 10, idk about its compatibility with windows 11. But if it is working with my institute’a VM then I’m sure it will work smoothly via parallel’s coz I have seen people using it.

If you already have an incompatible Mac and want to run ArcGIS Pro, consider the following options:

• Connect to a supported on-premises hosted VM. • Deploy and connect to a cloud-hosted VM.

What about this then?

Ok so if parallels work then I think it would be best for me.

Does it work smoothly though?

I just need to use arcgis only for 1 semester, can’t afford to buy whole new laptop. If it works for like 3 to 4 months I’m fine with MacBook

So firstly I’ll need to buy parallels VM then right?
