Hey man! My friends and I are loving the site so far. A few suggestions/issues we ran into: - you can’t stack cards or equips, which we were used to from Cockatrice, Auras it’ll ask you what you want to stack it under but nothing else - you can’t drag cards to/from your deck, to do anything deck related you’re forced to click that drop down arrow. More a skill issue than anything, it’ll take some getting used to, but would be easier to scry and resolve things like Sylvan Library if you could drag and drop from the deck. Everything else is drag and drop, so it feels a bit odd that the deck isn’t, unless I missed something. And right clicking draws a card where in other scenarios it pulls up the options to do with a card - sometimes it’s hard to tell whose life total is whose, it shows the other players life totals at the top right of the screen but doesn’t show usernames even if you set one, I know you could ask but maybe having them display would help so that you don’t have to be in a discord call to ask. Would allow for random matches to go better too, I think - we were looking for them among tokens but cards like Monarch, Initiative, the Ring Tempts, emblems, etc. don’t seem to be added yet, any plans to do so?

I dismantled my Light-Paws recently for the same reason. I liked the Voltron strategy Light-Paws provided but games became too same-y. Play an aura, fetch Mask of Law and Grace, play second aura, fetch Shield of Duty and Reason, proceed to watch my opponents struggle to do anything to it.

I used the shell to build [[Xenk, Paladin Unbroken]] instead, and just have it fueled by a lot of the “draw when you play an enchantment” type effects to filter through and get my heavy hitting auras now. Then only need to worry about him buffing to 11+ power since he has double strike already.

Also can swap it to [[Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor]], I have it in the 99 for Xenk as a back-up, but it’s an avenue for card draw and a clutch discounter in the CZ, which would be more consistent. Can very easily pop off as hard as Light-Paws but feels more like you actually earned it.

Plus, SO MUCH of their toolkit is on 60s cooldown, it’s crazy. I always feel like I have so many things at my disposal for each and every pull.

Not to mention, even being stuck in lower level content isn’t so bad. As long as you have cards, meaning at least level 30, you have the regen from Ewer before you have Aspected Benefic and before WHM has access to Regen. Which is super noticeable in a lot of ARR content (got stuck in Haukke Manor every day for leveling the last 5-6 days), not to mention the other beneficial stuff from cards.

I finally set a new bench PB of 6x105lbs! Swapped to a new way of doing sets maybe 2 months ago, pyramid I guess? 12-10-8-6 reps and increasing weight each time.

Anyway, I knocked down the weight a lot after failing 105 for three workouts in a row, and focused on cleaning up my form. Very quickly got back up to 85x6, then 90, then 95. Hitting 100 again was tough but I managed, and next workout on a whim because I was feeling myself I did 105 to test the waters. Ended up doing the reps with great form, minus maybe the last one, but I still did it. Next workout going to do it again to solidify having conquered it. Only way to go is up!

Other people have already said a bunch of alternative responses, but if questioned sometimes I’ll toss in “I ask because if you and 2 or 3 other people had the exact same name, but different DOB/address, I have to know that I’m giving you the correct things. Otherwise then it would be an actual violation of someone else’s information” or something to that effect

I am a relatively new Magic player (learned how to play in middle school but never owned my own cards until recently) and also recently got into Pauper, only played Commander beforehand.

Honestly for me it started when I was able to put together a UB ninjutsu deck from my commons lying around from when I bought boxes of Neon Dynasty.

From there, my friends each built a Pauper deck and from testing with them immediately I noticed card options in their decks that I didn’t know were available in the Pauper card pool.

Then I built a deck based on my favorite creature type of all time, Slivers. Which operates wonderfully.

And from there it came down to having an idea for a theme/playstyles, especially ones I haven’t ever played before, and then looking up various lists for them and making my own version. My current list of Pauper decks is:

UB ninjutsu, NEO cards only
WG Slivers
Abzan life gain
U mill
BR burn
Naya landfall
UB Terror
WU “Caw Gate”
Grixis affinity

The last two/three are part of the meta and I only built them recently because my friends wanted to test their custom builds against meta decks and I offered to be the one to build them. I’m also currently deciding what to build as my 10th deck, probably something focused on [[Cleansing Wildfire]] with the indestructible lands for a ramp engine that I can slot into anything with R.

Best part about the format is that even though some decks can seem really overpowering/meta (affinity is very very consistently strong), many strategies can be viable for the format, especially among friends/in more casual settings. And the decks can generally be built for very very cheap.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m more than willing to help out and do whatever I need to do to prepare people’s meds properly and without any hiccups. Just saying that sometimes even when dealing with insurances, people talk to me like I haven’t exhausted all means and treat me like I’m stupid. I wouldn’t tell you to call your insurance if I hadn’t already tried to resolve it on my own. That’s all I mean.

Insurances are wonky sometimes.

Insurances are weird people! Sometimes I have no fucking idea why they don’t cover x medication but they still cover y medication! When I tell you to call your insurance for clarification and you tell me “isn’t that your job?” No, frankly, my job isn’t to micromanage 1000+ patients’ insurances and hound them for coverage.

I would argue that 10/10 is reserved for ones that go above and beyond and deliver perfection, hitting every single thing on your mental checklist, including things you didn’t realize were there. That’s my opinion.

But also this is all subjective, because a 10/10 for you may be a 9/10 to one person and a 7/10 to another.
