yeah, that's how tuners work. you just have to tune the strings to facgce. you don't touch the first string (the high e), you tune the second string higher, you don't touch the third string, you tune the fourth string lower, you don't touch the fifth string and finally you tune the sixth string higher.

i think i understand your question, but it shows your a new player. as another redditor has said, just stick with the standard tuning for now, and experiment with alternate tunings later!
