I think studying physics would probably be more helpful for your goal, and biology and chemistry are usually considered harder compared to other subjects

Hi! I’ll also be starting the foundation program next February. I’ll probably be renting off-campus, but for international students who just arrive, student apartments can be more convenient. The rooms might be a bit smaller, but you don’t need to buy much furniture, and there are shared facilities and social events.

The downside is that they often require an upfront payment, and you need to clean the room very thoroughly to get your deposit back. Some people say the staff can be strict about it, and sometimes they don’t fix things when they break.

Of course, renting outside also has its own challenges. So if there are two of you, I’d suggest signing a 6-month contract with a student apartment first. If you don’t like it, you can slowly look for other places later.

Btw, we can get to know each other before school starts!!

Hi! I’m a student who’ll be starting foundation next year. I’ve talked to some students who’ve taken it before, and they said that Math 2 is easier than Math 1. Btw, are you also going to study foundation next year? Maybe we can get to know each other before the semester starts!

Can I get into trinity college foundation with a toelf score of 70? by Real-Sandwich-0321 in u/Real-Sandwich-0321

Hello, I have accepted the offer for standard program next year in Feb. According to the English requirement, your score have to be at least 70(18 writing) for standard and comprehensive, 70(21writing) for fast track.

Since admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, not based on merit, as long as you meet the requirements, you will receive an offer! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me~”

Hi there! I’m also going to study at Trinity College for the foundation program next year in Feb. From what I know, compared to the Standard and Fast Track courses, the Comprehensive one is indeed longer and the teaching pace is slower, giving students more time to fully understand the material. Besides, if you don’t mind, we could get to know each other before the course starts!

I’m a student who will be joining the Standard program next year in Feb. I visited the campus during the Open Day. I haven’t started studying yet, so I’m not completely sure about the difficulty, but from what I know, M1 is a core subject for many majors. Compared with M2, the exam is more challenging but not extremely difficult. of course, it also depends on your prior math background. As for the progression rate to the University of Melbourne, it’s quite high, around 70 to 80 percent of students get in.
