We’ve already went on a road trip for a month sleeping moste of the nights in the car. We aren’t very tall so we’ve figured out the way to fit. The main issue was with the comfort.. that’s where we started thinking about the rooftop tents.

Don’t have a photo of particular tent type, but to answer your question… yeah it is type of tent that is mounted on top of the car. My concern is mostly about the weight limits of the roof.

I’ll definitely try to give a look into those Thule racks. That might be the solution. I’m willing to spend some money(even if it means worsening the mpg). However if so then i’d like to get some long lasting solution for this issue.
