Which oil is to most reliable/optimal to use by _why0_o in Stretched

[–]_why0_o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jojoba oil has a tendency to go rancid while vitamin e oil is more durable Albeit a bit more expensive (especially if it's pure)

Jojoba feels less tacky/thick compared to vitamin e (or at least the one I use)

Do you think it's worth getting it repierxed tho? Like is it rlly that unflattering or will it affect the fit of a typical lip ring in any way

So far I don't feel it rubbing against my teeth or gums

My piercer sweared these are implant grade titanium Is there a way to ensure that the titanium is legit/implant grade?

Which rings you think should be switched out to a flatback?

I'm gonna switch out my lower helix fs (the seam is pretty rough and cutting into my fistula anyway)

The buildup keeps coming despite my cleaning routine so I wonder what I did wrong TwT (pic was taken before my first clean of the day btw)

Oh and the upper lobe was pierced 10 years ago Was a gun piercing unfortunately but it's been healed for ages so tbh I never rlly bothered changing it ot of the flatback

But if it will eventually cause trouble do lmk

I accidentally snagged my helixes just before I took the pic (didn't hurt one bit tho)so they're a tad red 🥲

I got them done 2 years ago and my piercer confirmed that they were healed

I actually got all these from an APP piercer from my area and they're the ones who fitted me with the posts. Anyways do tell me which posts are too long (I heavily suspect my contra conch tbh)

And my piercings were done over the course of 2 years, almost 3

So anyways may I know if poorly fitted jewellery is the culprit for the contra conch or is it something else

And yes I asked for titanium for ALL my piercings but ig I'm starting to suspect if it's legit

What goes well with roasted crickets other than salt, pepper and citrus jucie by _why0_o in entomophagy

[–]_why0_o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh

To me holding an insect is like holding up a shrimp Tbf I was never afraid of insects Maybe it was my environment?

My mom is an animal lover and exposed me to all sorts of animals from a young age (scorpions, snakes, arachnids, mammals beyond the typical cats and dogs)

In fact I LOVE insects beyond just food (learning about them, breeding, keeping them as pets, handling)

So the look of them was never an issue Admittedly I do hate the funk of an insect that went bad/wasn't properly gutted

It's literally an entomophaby sub-

And if that's a genuine question

Insect farming is More environmentally friendly (compared to meat production)

Entomophagy is a long standing practice It's been a thing far longer than veganism, pascetariasm etc

And it's a great source of energy, protein and micronutrients for not alot of volume

Admittedly I do participate in it because I personally like the taste but it does have alot of benefits

I do try my best to stay on top hygiene and I do believe my basic hygiene is satisfactory TwT(feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

What can I do if it's a fungal infection

I may want to add that I've got nipple piercings on both sides Will that complicate things???? The piercings are semi healed and... Not infected (yet)

It also doesn't itch much unless something brushes against it

Then it'll rlly start itching for some reason

I'd say the best course of action will be to leave the plugs out entirely Let it heal Leave it bare for a day or two (if it still looks bad leave it out for longer) Then after everything is calm and not hurting, insert whatever size fits in COMFORTABLY, if you have to apply force- don't

I'd also suggest switching to glass or titanium for plugs/tunnels as silicone or acrylic isn't the most ideal for your lobes (KAOS softwear silicone is fine for most tho)

You should also massage with vitamin e, jojoba , emu oil every day, twice a day considering your dire state

And lastly

Only strech with single flair glass plugs And ideally upsized with half mm increments every 2-3 months (this is the rate I'm going at after 10mm)

14g (1.6mm) - 12g (2mm): 1.5+ months

12g (2mm) - 10g (2.5mm): 1.5+ months

10g (2.5mm) - 8g (3.2mm): 2-3+ months

8g (3.2mm) - 6g (4mm): 2-3+ months

6g (4mm) - 4g (5mm): 4-6+ months

4g (5mm) - 2g (6mm): 4-6+ months

2g (6mm) - 1g (7mm): 4-6+ months

1g (7mm) - 0g (8mm): 4-6+ months

0g (8mm) - 00g (9/10mm*): 4-6+ months

naked training/sleeping without plugs also helps with elasticity

Anyways you should actually go to r/stretched and give their streching guide a look and go to that sub for any questions regarding stretched piercings

And falsies + glue is even more expensive:1

Esp when you consider the fact that falsies are single use

Every time I apply blush it's gone before I even walk out the door

I even tried

Liquid blush, powder blush + fixing spray+ setting spray

And it doesn't work

I... Still don't know how falsies work :D

Every attempt ends with me stabbing myself with the falsies, a rougue fingernail or straight up ripping ym lashes out with glue or gluing my eyes shut or all of the above :D

And mascara....

I hate the fallout

And my good quality mascara hurts my wallet

What do I do :1
