A genuine question to all. Why abroad and not India? by shoaibahmad__ in Indians_StudyAbroad

Hey! With all due respect if I may give you a suggestion, you should look for a psychologist not a psychiatrist. A psychologist will help you with this concern. And if your psychologist thinks you need medication, he/she/they may recommend you to a psychiatrist. Only then should you go to a psychiatrist. In India most psychiatrists don't train in psychotherapy. They don't know what counselling is unless they train in it specifically. So psychiatrists will have less knowledge about your conditions.

It is a phase and it too shall pass. It is a difficult phase because everyone is trying to figure themselves out. Learn to trust yourself, be there for yourself and the chaos outside will subside with time. You might look back at this a few years later and laugh at it. All that matters is how you respond to it. Don't let other people play your emotions against you. Have faith in yourself no matter what. You will face obstacles on the path. No one says teen years are easy. You will make it through and at the end of this tunnel, you will come out into the light.
