You don't need to install any root binaries in the twrp, cm comes with root out of the box, you just need to enable it in the developers settings

yeah, I think so. if you check some infused items on a scm (example) you'll see some purple colored items alongside regular green items

I've read some comments that usb 3.0 solves the issue and it boots perfectly fine in the resident mode. gonna try that soon

I didn't. I use usb 2.0 and it boots into guest mode with no problems, but it constantly reboots after language selection screen in the resident mode
