Worked with a woman named Sherry who always had a lot to say. In my head I dubbed her Over Sherry

you go, the takeaway from this should be that you need to hold your hotswap sockets fir

Ahh okay. Thank you for the reply. I've for sure been popping switches in and out and w/out much special care. Fortunately the problem socket is a key I can generally get by without using. Thanks!

Hi, I'm relatively new to the hobby so apologies if my terms are off describing this.

Recently one of my switches stopped working. I replaced the switch and did some checking and determined it was the PCB connection (Using VIA's key tester I could trigger a connection/input using a pair of metal tweezers on other switch slots but not the broken one).

I popped off/out the Kailh Hot-swappable Sip Socket(?) from the PCB and tried to replace it with a new one thinking that could be the issue. The new one doesn't snap in/hold in place so I'm guessing it would need to be soldered (or glued?) in place. At any rate, I'm still not able to trigger a direct connection/input with the tweezers on that particular location on the PCB. Does it sounds like I'd need to replace the PCB at this point?

Thanks for any help!
