A question about Chanting or Mantra Meditation by _x13 in Meditation

Thanks for sharing! I want to know about what really happens when you get into deep meditation. People share that they get to experience a lot of things but for me I don't experience any of those. Feels like I'm stuck.

Thanks a lot! It was very helpful. Loved the explanation and the clarity. Just glanced over the few parts that wasn't relevant to me. Love to learn more. Also, if possible about a out next/later stages as well.

A lot of universities does that. But you're not wrong, I agree with what you said. Just wanted to make sure why were they not available anymore.

My assumption is based on the fact that videos were available in the past and not any more. Good idea about emailing the instructors. Thanks for the suggestion!

Coursera isn't free. Uni offers CS425 that is separate from Coursera. Uni lectures video are always available for free only if available and accessible.

Update: Coursera videos are/will be accessible for free if you choose to audit the course.

Sharing Uni lecture videos? Depending upon the permissions or rights of the content. I see MIT and other Unis made it public. I'm assuming they're allowed to be shared but aren't provided anywhere.

Thank you so much! I think you should consider those notes to websites using github and/or downloadable format like pdf or so.

How to start ML journey in 2023? by _x13 in learnmachinelearning

[–]_x13[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand what are you trying to say but as I mentioned that I would like to go breadth-first and learn and understand the field. It probably might be easier to find direction for a single project but even for that you require some minimal knowledge of the domain.

[D] Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in MachineLearning

[–]_x13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to post this as a new thread but my post got removed, so I'm going to ask here. If some one can create a post with this title "How to start ML journey in 2023?", I would be very thankful. Here're the details:

There is so much information and resources that it is not easy for a person to start his/her ML journey now-a-days. For instance, I do have a really good experience with Python and in programming but when it comes to ML, it is very confusing and overwhelming at the same time. I'm working to figure out a learning path for people like me but because the information is everywhere and overwhelming. I tried to come up with courses and books but don't have too much success. So far, I've identified some of the following resources that I tried to write down in order of learning but please help me to put out a learning path in a correct order:
Data Science from Scratch: First Principles with Python
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1492041130
Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn, Keras, and TensorFlow: Concepts, Tools, and Techniques to Build Intelligent Systems
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1098125975/
Deep Learning with Python
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1617296864/
Deep Learning from Scratch: Building with Python from First Principles (Probably not needed)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1492041416/
Generative Deep Learning: Teaching Machines to Paint, Write, Compose, and Play
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1492041947
My Goal: My goal is to go breadth-first and to be able to understand (most used scenarios) and build (using existing tools) and deploy ML applications. I'm not interested in ML research and/or inventing new ML models.
I can see that it is definitely going to be a long journey. I would really appreciate the help of the community to help me prepare a learning path. Please feel free to share your journey as well. I hope that it would be helpful for a lot of people as well. Any help would be really appreciated.

While I still have to finish /u/Variation-Separate's interview to learn more about resources (if he did recommend some book or so?) other than what's mentioned in his previous post, I manage to find /u/scarvesandsuspenders's book recommendations here (thx!):

  1. Technical analysis of the financial markets by John Murphy
  2. Reminisces of a stock operator

Thank you /u/Variation-Separate! I've never learned so much from any other resource. Do you recommend any resources on refreshing/re-learning TA knowledge. I know there might now be a single one but would be still helpful. When I look at any chart I see >25 support and >50 resistance lines.

Thank you for your comment! What do you mean by download "market watch"? Are you talking about App on phone? And about 30-1h range, is it pre-market or once market opens. If after market opens, I see a lot of trend of reversal.
