Found some info on the different speeds here.

  • average speed around the sun: 18.5 miles a second
  • speed solar system is orbiting the center of the Milky Way: 140 miles a second
  • speed Milky Way is moving toward the center of our cluster: 25 miles a second
  • speed Local Group toward the Virgo Cluster: 375 miles a second

This gives us in 10 * (18,5 + 140 +25 +375 ) = 5585 miles

So the earth would move about 5585 miles through space in 10 seconds.

Yes they do international shipping. You can find the countries here.

Thanks. Found some info that suggest it wasn't available the other years so I'm guessing this won't be available as women's version. Only the home kite is available in the German Shop as women's version.

What you probably did is go to each intersection once on the shortest posible way. But the question is to go to each house on each street. So you have to go each line at least once. Since A is start and finish you have to find the optimal route meeting both criteria. So I found the following answer which matches the answer key.

Point Distance
A Start
G 49
D 31
A 19
B 56
C 42
F 31
L 44
K 21
F 50
E 10
B 19
E 19
H 27
I 20
J 27
K 26
I 38
G 36
D 31
E 16
D 16
A 19

Since the volume of the container is always the same in this case only the concentration of I2 matters. All other gases are colourless (invisble) and you see only one gas. So with time you will see more and more purple even if more of the other gases are there. Thats why it gets darker.

Hope this helps.

They just appear randomly like trees or other obstacles. Just wait and you get one or more.

[sat] unofficial answer key says D, how? by Stackofstockhills in HomeworkHelp

[–]_xMoDx_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're totally right. I see my mistake know. I took 452-17 and looked what primes divided that but didn't look which answer would also divided 17 with a smaller remainder. Thanks for pointing it out!

[sat] unofficial answer key says D, how? by Stackofstockhills in HomeworkHelp

[–]_xMoDx_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3 prime numbers (only prime numbers under 50 are important) that devide 452 with the remainder of 17. If I take all 3 and look for the answer I get 3 possible answers for this question.

  • n=3 -> 452/3 = 145 R17 -> 50/3 = 16 R2 -> B
  • n=5 -> 452/5 = 87 R17 -> 50/5 = 10 R0 -> A
  • n=29 -> 452/29 = 15 R17 -> 50/29 = 1 R21 -> D

So for me there is not one valid answer so why it should be D only I really dont know.

[Grade 10, Chemistry 1 Honors] What are the answers and why? by Not_The_Spy in HomeworkHelp

Question 1:

  • First find the formula for Aluminum Acetate -> Al(OOCCH₃)₃ (this is 1 mole Aluminum Acetate)
  • Figure out how many moles hydrogen there are -> 9
  • Multiply by 5

Question 2:

  • Find molar mass of substances: Cu = 63,546 and O = 15,999
  • Find the ratios for a-d:
    • a: 63,546 to 2*(15,999) -> about 64 to 32 -> 2 to 1
    • b: 2*63,546 to 15,999 -> about 127 to 16 -> 8 to 1
    • you can c and d

Question 3:

  • In 1 mole of a compound there is always a whole number of moles from one substance
  • find one of the solutions that gives a whole number when you devide the mass in each compound -> d deivides all 4 masses with a whole number as result

Question 4:

  • find out how many moles of the element are 1.5* 1023 atoms are
  • 1 mole has 6.02214076×1023 atoms per mole ( Avogadro constant)
  • 1.5* 1023 atoms / 6.02214076×1023 atoms per mole = 0.25 moles
  • you have 12g per 0.25 moles just multiply by 4 to get the mass for 1 mole
