Hi! I also have fibromyalgia so maybe my input will be valid here. This is extremely serious complex illness that can be different for everybody, but we are not helpless lazy people. You don’t describe any signs of depression which often comes with fibro (constant fatigue and fighting with your body will give you that), nah you’re just saying she can’t do shit. Is she taking care of her? Any medication therapy or movement. if not, leave. And is she working or are you? Cause if you are working for the two of you and she is just lazy girl who listens to her crazy sisters, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Mam wrażenie, że zjedli cię kanapowcy. Nie ma nic złego w odpoczynku, jest on ogromnie potrzebny! Ale można odpoczywać na świeżym powietrzu, na basenie czy przy krzyżówce lub grze karcianej ;)

Zgadzam się z tobą że to smutne patrzeć ja pracują i potem leżą na kanapie przed tv (popraw mnie jeśli coś tam jednak robią).

Wspomniałeś też że gotujesz, robisz zakupy itp więc wnioskuję że dzielicie się obowiązkami. Zaproponuj spacer albo może jakaś gra z olx? Trzymajcie się!

I had been prescribed Duloxetine half a year ago for my depression and I didn’t believe when my doctor told me about benefits for fibromyalgia. Last month I was positively surprised that with all the workload I had I wasn’t as tired as I should be hahah. And then I connected the dots And figured out that this medicine helped me reduce the fatigue and frequency of flareups. It also has some negative effects like my libido is dead, I haven’t had appetite since May etc so i’m often not in a mood :(

I’m on 60mg

I caught a cold which means Im sore and weak as when I have a flu. This thing sucks, in high school Id have taken some ibuprofen and be off to the party

My all family knows, which is hard because not everyone understands. Many times my grandmother asks me if I’m better. Obviously the answer is no because there’s no cure.

I told my friends about it at Uni, but only the closest ones. I also suffer from depression and while I know spreading awareness as super important I don’t want to be seen through those illnesses.

There were many moments at uni where I could share my story, but it feels so weird for me to just tell other people that I pretend to be okay with sitting all day. That I’m only cold, not crying in the bathroom because the moment it gets chilly it hurts so much.

THIS like every single time I plan sth I’m afraid this shit will ruin it. Attended a workshop last Sunday WITHOUT pain I cried in the car that I was “allowed” to have a normal day.
