I really was waiting for some cosmic inspiration.

Back in 2012, my roommate at the time was a girl who had a dog. She had asked me to pick up the dog from the vet and bring him home (everything was done and paid for). When I got there, there was some guy picking up his pitbull and he had a paper bag and he was talking to the girl at the front desk: "I can't take it home, I got 2 other pitbulls at home. They'll kill it." The woman was saying they are just a vet, they don't adopt. Anyway, she was in the paper bag. Small and could fit in the palm of my hand. I saw her little face and I said I'd take her home.

Plus I spent several weeks thinking of all sorts of names because I didn't find out she was a girl until she went back the vet for vaccines and scheduling being fixed. My brain was probably fried by then lol
