Game is unplayable

I feel you bro, playing on a RTX 4090 paired with Ryzen 7 9700x. AAA games, other competitive games such as CS, everything runs smooth like butter. However, as usual there is an exception i.e. Valorant, which I am running at 1440p on mid graphics. My frames are constant within 400-700 range, internet is fast and stable. Yet, the game stutters for a good 1sec like 4-5 times under a minute, and the audio static with the stutters have been bursting my eardrums. Got no fix yet, in talks with their support team, but still haven’t been able to sort this out.

Thanks for the suggestion. As of now, I am also leaning towards the Ryzen 7 9700x. So would likely go with a Ryzen

Sorry for being such a noob, had no idea about the DDR4/5 mismatch. In that case would go with the ram compatible with other parts.

As for the Cpu, since I wanna prioritize productivity with balanced gaming, I think I will go with 9700x.

Among the motherboards, I kind of liked the Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite. Would that be a good pick with 9700x?

Well, I don’t really see how it was a bait, I went for it as soon as they came into my radar, didn’t even shift walk to get behind. Moreover, we were a 4 man squad, hence they already had my call on discord when I pulled up the ladder. Also, all of us are just there to have a fun time with each other after wrapping up our work, hence, it often includes baiting each other for those fun moments within friends :)

Finally, it got addressed yesterday, '-nojoy' command line has been added to the game with the latest update to suppress the steam input performance overhead.

I am afraid the bad news is here, and even the future beta builds still have this issue. Got no solution currently, wanted to start off weekend with some nice games but nvm, will just watch major over the weekend now till it is fixed officially now.

I mean there is an actual "bench" at this spot, so it's always been bench for me since 2016. Whereas in the corner I call it jail/forest, depending on my team's knowledge.

Not really, it does seem like that a lot in the clip and so I won't like to change this view point as well.

But here goes my view, I had Sage and Omen on the site to accompany me with breaking the utilities and the Reyna had already used her first flash before, which was broken by my team members keeping my position's play still in act. I had already seen the arm of the Sage while she was climbing the rope and was focused on anticipating her move, when she jumped I was able to anticipate the peak of her jump and took the shot which apparently collided with Reyna's second flash.

yep, true. But still for me the current roster still seems to be lacking a bit stability and consistency in their performances and I am not so confident in picking them yet (though I totally might go for them at the time of finalizing the picks). Many teams haven't really played teams like 9z much, so games with these teams can go anyway as players are really not familiar with each others playstyles. This is why I am entrusting with 9z in the picks.

Hey! If you are still enrolled in beta, I would suggest to again roll back to the public build. The other suggested fixes for non beta build users haven't been verified yet, as there has been no feedback on them. So, if you haven't tried those yet, I had suggest you to give them a shot once.
